WHAT YOU SAY

The hair I prefer is what I term "virgin hair": hair that is not touched by anything other than shampoo, conditioner, and water. Absolutely nothing else. No dyes, no gels, no hairsprays, or processes, just a shiny black waterfall down a girl's back.

I love my hair, it's just that it never wants to stay up.

I want to know how my hair would look with hightlights and turning my whole head a "soft" blonde.

i'm planning on getting a magic straight perm here in new york soon but the prices are outrageous.
can anyone recommend and a place that does it around $200?

a listing of asian hair salons would be soooo helpful on this site.

everytime I go to get a haircut or style they cut it the same way. I am so tired of trying to get a new style that I just wear my hair in a ponytail. I am a middle aged asian woman I would like a more to date look without begging for it. tired of the pageboy look. I will go years without a haircut if I live in a area where that is all I get.

me too --looking for some good hair styles for hair that is medium length. I want a hair cut! It's getting long again -mid back, and feel bored.

God of Asia, your comments don't faze me at all. Think whatever you want. I am azn, there's no way to erase that. Everyone, regardless of race, is beautiful in their own way.

Hapa chick, you can do this at home but e-mail me for further instructions.

Some of you said that Asians hair sport "yellow" hair, that's because they haven't put in a toner or permanent tint to tone down brassiness or yellow/gold. A toner will create a beautiful shade of blonde. That's the key in achieving natural looking blonde shade. Also, going all over blonde isn't from a botched job. In fact, I first became blonde using light highlights on a light brown base first before going all over blonde. People kept saying my hair looked SO natural and have dimension.

Again, not everyone can look good in blonde. Some make GREAT redheads, brownheads or in any other shades like blue, purple, you name it! Even rainbow.

It's just a matter of personal choice. If you love your dear black hair, stick to it. If you love your blue hair, stick to it as well.
