WHAT YOU SAY

oh my god, I just saw the asians with blonde hair site, that last girl is scary! Somebody give her some sunblock!

It's ok to bleach your hair as long as you keep up with the look. All the girls on that site are pretty (ok maybe not the toasty one). Asian girls can get away with blond hair if they have the right makeup and a pretty face. But from what I've seen, asian girls require a lot of makeup in order to go blonde and look good. It's all about the combination of the hair, makeup, and skin tone. I'd try it except it'll give my parents and my boyfriend a heart attack and ruin my professional image (I work in a very conservative field).

Since this is a hair post. I got a question. Does any of you ladies have curly hair? I am 100% Chinese and I have wild curly hair like Mariah Carey. Every where I go people ask me where I perm it, and when I told them I'm naturally curly they give me this weird look. When I was growing up I was singled out as the weirdo. I had no clue what to do with my hair since everyone around me has stick straight locks. For the longest time I can win the Alber Einstein look alike contest.

This is what I found works for my wild curls, in case there are other asian curly heads out there. Use moisturizing shampoos and CONDITION once a week. I switch between several shampoos every week (Tigi BedHead, Paul Mitchell, and Biologe). After I wash my hair I literally drown my hair in Paul Mitchell's Sculpting Lotion. It locks in the moisture and makes curls shiny instead of frizzy. I have a layer cut, which tones down the bulk a bit (oh yeah, I was blessed with extremely thick hair too). But my most reliable friend is my scrungee. When it rains or gets too humid, my scrungee is my best friend.

Thanks Gurlie,

I've tried to layers cut but, because my hair coarse and every single hair shaft it self its thick. So the tip of the layers cut sticking out. Just like a broom you know (^_^). actually my hair is super healthy. Never dry split end and I never perm my hair or color it, highlight. Every time I blow-dry with the lowest setting Cool heat.Every body love the thickness and how healthy my hair is. "Oh, I wish I got hair like your" OH NO DON'T! I hate my hair. I think I should try with deep conditioner or All Soft Hair Masque and smoothing lotion. I ever think to use hair relaxer, that use for black hair relaxer. It looks work pretty good to relax black hair though. (^_^) Well, thank once again.

I love Asian hair for its beauty and strength. Lately I have been experimenting with highlights and a semi-permanenent wash. I used this KOrean brand and a month and a half later it's still there!

Okay gals..I need your inputs.

I am looking to find a shampoo that deep cleanse thick oily hair. I also want to know which conditioners do you think is best to soften thick hair. My hair is already pretty healthy and soft...but I just have this thing about keeping it ultra soft and clean. I've been using paul mitchell or biolage forever, and I dont know if it has just stop working or I'm just use to it by now. Anyways, I want to try another brand and I was wondering which one have worked well on you all (if you also have thick oily hair)?

Thanks for the link, beachgerl.

It's pretty obvious that you need the right tan to pull it off.

I'm pretty pale, so I'll stick with my blond highlights for now. ;)

Arantxa,

To take down the "puff" get layers that are specifically designed to take out the volume. There's no long term fix to counteract frizzy hair. To control the frizz, factor in your environment and your hair's condition. Is it humid? Is your hair damaged? Deep condition your hair once a week with Redken Extreme Conditioner or Redken All Soft Hair Masque. Wash and condition hair and apply a smoothing lotion (Physique Smoothing Lotion). If you blow-dry your hair, switch to a low setting or nix it all together. It's best to towel dry hair, blot hair avoid rubbing or say hello to frizzies. Hope this helps!

Hair problem.
I've a lot of hair. Super thick hair you can't imagine. Besides my hair is coarse and little wavy also frizzy. Make my hair so big and puffy. So makes me double oh no Triple stated with my hair. My hair dresser said, like cutting 4 heads. I tried many products to manage it, I like to have smooth sleek hair but its never happened. Even I tried all John Frieda products that clam can reduce frizz and make hair smooth, the result just last for about hour then will back to big puffy hair. Its like you comb your backward to make such big volume. Anyone have the problem? I guess not huh? Any suggestion what I can do with my hair?
Well anyway if you have please let me know. To make my super...super thick hair smooth and sleek.

Tila looked really pretty in the pictures. The rest...in my opinion would look better off natural/with dark hair.

I feel that people should experience with all kinds of looks. I mean...you only live once...do the most with your appearance as you can when you are young. Change styles...even if it is not totally you. Experience as much as you can out of life...even in things like appearance.

But...I have to agree with the others...the last girl is a joke.

For a while I had platinum blond hair, I decided to do another change (I can get bored easily) so I'm going for red! After I do color priming only made for bleached hair, I'm going to try MC Max's Sinful Ruby, which has a pure red base. It's a dark, deep red but not black-red (they do have that made for black hair called Black Widow). I'm doing to do it next week. It was fun being blonde but I'm ready for something new. My hair's surprisingly strong and sleek, even if it's dry.
