fair hapa,
another example: I saw a rich Balinese, his white wife and their children. One had the features of the father, the other those of the mother, but
both were -compared to other Balinese- remarkably dark-skinned,like their father was.

Phenotype,
do you mean some humans have pure-violet
eyes?

Jay,
gray eyes are most common in Europe (especially among Slavs and Finns). Some
North Asian people may have dark eyes with grayish admixture ,light-grayish-blue eyes occur among other tribes in Asia. I haven't seen pure-light-gray eyes among Asians, yet.
(All in all the chances for hapas
[Asian/white] to get a light eye-color is better than for pure-bred Asians.)

fair hapa,
what I wrote based on my experience that
for example in one mixed family (Korean mixed with white) it occured that one of
the hapa children was dark-skinned like the Korean parent and the second had relatively light skin.I think that the Korean parent was already mixed (dark-skinned Asian with light-skinned Asian). So there was a fifty percent chance for the hapa sblings to get either one or the other skin color.
-You compared yourself with black-mixed people, are you sure to be half-malay and
not half-papua?

Malaysian-Chinese Girl??
I do think you are somehow alittle mixed. I mean, hazel eyes are uncommon among Asians though. That's what I think :)

Rare Stuff:
Hazel eyes are a mixture of light brown, green and dark brown. They are uncommon among humans in general, but are by no means rare. The rarest eye colors are blue and violet.

Real hapas are often very dark-pigment- ed. It depends on what the Asian parent contributes.

TO: Malaysian Chinese Girl??
About Asian eye colors:
If you mean with "hazel" just a lighter brown than common in East Asia it'll be
as common as well. People around the whole world will have it.
About Asian pigment in general:
Perhaps you should take a closer look at
peoples of North/Central Asia :There are
Yakuts, Manchus, Nenets,Khantys... they're
all among the most light-skinned Asians and their hair has often got that brown-
ish reddish shade.
About Hapas:
Real hapas are often very dark-pigment-
ed. It depends on what the Asian parent contributes.
