My eyes are pure black and slant down with double lid. It is so black that you couldn't tell my pupils dilation. My sister has brownish single lid eyes with elliptic features.

[gray eyes are most common in Europe (especially among Slavs and Finns).Some North Asian people may have dark eyes with grayish admixture, light-grayish-blue eyes occur among other tribes in Asia. I haven't seen pure-light-gray eyes among Asians,yet.]

I have yet to see an Asian who doesn't have very dark brown/almost black colored eyes or brown eyes that turn a little light in the sun.

Almost every Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, Malay, Laotian, and similar Asian types I've ever met (discounting West and Northern Indians) had very dark brown/almost black colored eyes.

I've only met a few Asians who had brown eyes that turned a bit light brown under the sunlight (like my eyes)- a few Vietnamese and Japanese (esp. w/ origins in Hokkaido- Russian mixing?).
Hmmm... but I had a high school teacher of Japanese ancestry (in Hawaii) who may have had gray eyes.
[All in all the chances for hapas [Asian/white] to get a light eye-color is better than for pure-bred Asians.]

Everybody check this out, look at your eyes, I mean really look at them really close, pull your eyelids apart. Does anybody have a really small blue ring on the outer rim of their brown pupil? I was wondering if this was rare or not, because I have this really thin ring of blue in my eye.

Hazel eyes are not that uncommon. My grandma has hazel eyes. Brown/green. The green part sometimes looks blue. And she is MANCHURIAN CHINESE!! I'm not saying that is a typical trait of northern Chinese...but that's how her eyes look. Many generations before her...there were some Russians....but that's not what contributed to her eyes being hazel because it was soooo long ago that it really wouldn't make a difference.

So...I feel that pretty much anybody can have hazel eyes!!

i think it often seems like azn girls, whether hapa or pure, are more often found attractive than azn males...and hapas can be incredibly hot when mixed well...b/c most azns are naturally skinny and the naturaly slightly tanned look that is common looks good too...

I'm half Japanese and half white. I have brown eyes, but in certain light, they are greenish, or hazel. My Japanese mother's eyes are a much darker brown than mine. But my father's eyes are sky blue. I have a friend who is half Thai and half white. Her eyes are yellow. Very cool.

I once had a gf that had the clearest blue eyes. Sometimes they were a radiant blue and sometimes they were a pastel blue. Could have been the lighting of the environments. But I beleive the different clarity of blue was tied into her cycle. I use to joke with her that it must be that time of the month, I can see it in your eyes.

I think the best was a Irish girl I knew who had black hair and deep-blue eyes and she wasn't mixed either.

You don't have to be a Hapa to look good. You can be a prue breed and still look good.
