WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
My 2 month old daugher Helena is a EurAsian with black hair and dark eyes, but her skin is very pink--almost as pink as mine. She's not dark at all. However, I figure as she gets older she'll tan better than me and not need as heavy a sunblock.
In any case, she's a little cutie and I love her dearly.

Jay ...the hapa,
Please don’t come back to Honolulu. You are the most obnoxious, irritating f***head poster in Goldsea. I mean it. Don’t come back to Honolulu. I hate people like you. You are more annoying than my half Hawaiian neighbors who do drugs. They threated to burn down my house a few weeks ago, but a least they are not annoying like you. Are you proud of yourself? Or do you have a need to draw attention to yourself with all your smug, arrogant comments? You’re a fool. When or if you do comeback to Hawaii, you’ll be just another loser down the street no one cares about.

to blue-eyed eurasian & 22 eurasian guy:
yeh blue eyes and blonde hair are very unique for eurasians. most have brown hair (light to dark) and brown eyes (light to dark). anything else is rare. i myself have reddish-brown hair and medium brown eyes with miniscule hazel highlights in the sun. i only kno one hapa girl who has strawberry blond hair, but she has light brown eyes. well kristin kreuk has green/hazel eyes so it's not like impossible or anything. the chances for it are slim since dark hair n brown eyes r more dominant. the proteins for eye n hair color are complex n no one is completely dominant. it's all up to chance in what genes u get, really! ur just really special. looking almost completely white isn't too rare. i am chinese/white n i don't have any asian features except shorter height (but that's from both sides).
"Most people that meet me just assume i am full European/white they are usually suprised when i tell them i am half Asian then studying me after a while they notice some slight Asian features in my face. mainly my eyes. I am not sure why i don't look more Asian than Euro. Most Eurasians I know look a lot more asian than me."
that happens to me ALL the time! they're so shocked when they see my mom or hear me speaking canto. i look almost completely white also. ur not alone. actually of all the hapa people i kno, most look more white.
ok does neone kno any or seen any full asian person w/ anything other than brown eyes? japanese have lighyter eyes. i never have except for color contacts which look weird on most people. well sayuri in "memoirs of a geisha" had blue-gray eyes. is this possible for a completely asian person? is it considered a mutation? ok wait there's this one full asian girl in my school who has hazel eyes. prob some asians don't kno of distant white ancestors. genes can surface even after many generations.

Blue Eyed Eurasian,
have you ever heard of Dzhinghis Khan?
His clan was named "Bordjigin" after the blue eyes of most of the clan members. If you get to know Central and North Asians you will notice that there are still many Asian tribals who bear Asian features and are blond and blue-eyed. Nowadays they are less because they have mixed with darker Asians. In comparison to light-pigmented Europeans light-pigmented Asians tend to have rather dark-blue eyes,dark-blond or dark-brown hair which is often thicker than that of Europeans.

Jay,
of course you're right comparing hapas with pure-bred Asians, it was my failure that I didn't mention that I wrote "very dark" comparing hapas with the whites with the lightest skins (because I live among whites, not among Asians).

[One thing though, i wonder if whites every looked up their ancestry and realized they are ancient decendants of Asia. I heard that on the Dicovery channel but no one ever seems to talk about it.]
HUH??? Since when!?
In speaking of Asia, do you mean the Tigris Euphraetus Valley in the Middle East?
[Are blue eyes and blonde hair unique for Eurasians? Or am i the only one? I hope i am not alone. lol]
Blue Eyed Eurasian,
What ethnicity(s) are your parents?
[I don't think Kellly Hu is a hapa? I thought she was just hawaiian?]
ABC,
What shit are you smoking, bud?
Kelly Hu is only 1/8 Hawaiian.
Like duh! Since when have you seen Polynesian/Samoan/Hawaiian women who looked like her?
rare stuff,
I think I'll stick to my Hawaii and Malaysian Hapa/Eurasian women.
I'll consider a visit to the Siberia hapa homeland in the far future.
As for Texas hapa women, I've given up.
They're too hard to find and the few that I've met are either teenage mothers, too tall/big-sized, or SLUTS & WHORES.

Half Chyna Doll,
Well "White" or "black" isn't exactly a ethnic group it is just a description. True ethnic groups would be like Asian, European, African, Arab, Jew, etc.. I mean if full blooded Asians had to check either black or white most would check white, because they arent exactly black lol
So if you look more "white" then that is the box you would check. I am Eurasian and i check that box, i look Asian but my skin is very white so i suppose that is the best one to check even though i would like to check both.
But i love my Eurasianess, European and Asian cultures are very facinating to me i love the CEltic stuff and ancient China stuff, and celtic and norse jewelry is really pretty. It for me is the best of both worlds. And no i have never been hated or anything y anyone, just a few people have questioned me but it's cool :-)
Concerning guys, i have mainly dated white guys i dont know any other hapas, but i would like to date an asian guy if i ever found one that i have a lot in common with. But i am perfectly happy , no worries.

rare stuff:
I have a friend who is a Irish/Japanese mix.... she's very lightskined with red hair and green eyes...you can't tell she's Japanese at all.
But her brother is really dark pigmented. He looks Southeast Asian.
I noticed that...Male hapas are more likely to be dark pigmented than female hapas.

"I read about ancestry once in the newspaper. It's interesting. You know, if you have an ancestor who had green or blue or hazel eyes seven generations ago, you'll probably inherit that after seven generations. So I think Malaysian Chinese Girl?? or even your grandma probably have something in common, that is maybe they are somehow mixed."
Malaysian-Eurasian Gal18:
Hi...
That sounds really interesting. Then again...it's really not that uncommon at all for purebreed Asians to have features that are typically western. In Xinjiang, China...that happens alot.

"Are you sure it wasn't your grandmother's cataracts that looked hazel?"
Jay... the no nonsense hapa:
Can you reword your question...?? I'm not sure if I understand what you are trying to say.
O_~
Apparently... you and your grandma have cataracts which determined the color of your eyes.
HAHA...too bad!_!
I bet you are an ugly individual.

Hey Blue-eyed Eurasian-
Yes I think it's very unusual for a hapa kid to be blue-eyed and blonde haired. I knew some kids who were 1/4 Japanese and 3/4 Norweigian. They had blue eyes and blonde hair. Actually, they looked totally white. But for 1/2 and 1/2, I think it's rare, and I would bet almost unheard of. Your Asian side must be mixed with some white somewhere down the line. Based on the science of genetics, I would venture to guess your Asian mom (or dad?) is not pure Asian.
