In Xin Jiang there are alot of uygurs. Originally from Iran. Maybe that's what you meant when you said it's not that uncommon for some chinese to have some sort of western features. As for Mongolians, I read about them in National Geographic and some have light eyes. Like Blue , green etc.They are actually kazhaks

As far as I know...this board is titled "AA attitude Toward Hapas"
I'm an AA, so I guess this board is designated for people like me to express my opinions towards hapas.

If it offends you that much then don't read it. If it was your own two eyeballs that decided to read what I write then don't complain about the content of it.

Also...Since you don't care about my opinion then why are you loosing sleep over it?

do you think you could add another poll question along the lines of:

as a eurasian/hapa do you consider yourself,
a) white
b) asian
c) eurasian/hapa
d) other

and as an asian american do you consider eurasians/hapas as,
a)white
b)asian
c)eurasian
d)other

it would be intresteing to see how other eurasians view themselves. since it seems that asians claim eurasians as their own sometimes. and other times consider them foreigners.

I find your expression "full-blooded" unsuitable. Maybe it is even more offensive than the term "pure-bred". However,"full-blooded" contains the word "blood" in itself. Because blood is often associated with sexuality at least I try to avoid any expression containing the word "blood" in any non-sexual conversation.-This is not meant to be a prudish comment, I just want to avoid that humans are seen as sexual objects.

You're angry at one Chinese person and you trash all Chinese girls???? I'm 100% Chinese with double-lid eyes and curves on my body. All natural. Nothing fake. Why do you think all chinese girls are ugly with slit eyes? I've seen beautiful chinese girls with slant eyes.

I think beauty comes in all races & ethnicities, ages, shapes and sizes. Just like there are nice people in every race, there are beautiful people in every race (or a mix-thereof).

I think Hapa guy may have exaggerated his statement:
{I'm half Chinese and I think PURE Chinese women, on average, are some of the worst looking women in the world.}

He probably digs the mix, just like yours truly and some other hapa lovers, and was quite appalled to hear you state:
{Just that most beautiful women ....and THE most beautiful women are pure Asian...in my opinion.}

If he doesn't like small eyes, his mother probably has big eyes.

As for Chinese women, aren't Shanghainese considered to be amongst the most attractive women in China?
A nice blend of Northern & Southern features according to many posters on goldsea. Not too far off the concept of the synergistic effect that often occurs when you mix Asian and Caucasian features.
Southern White women who often have mixed-blood ancestors only a few generations ago are regarded as some of the best-looking women in America as are Mestiza mixes in South America and other Spanish colonized regions who are held in high regard for their booty-liciousness. Don’t forget the MIXED Pinays, TSJ oh so loves!!! On the other hand, PURE Pinays… uh, no positive comments.

Don't forget some of those sweet
Native Amercian/African American + Anglo American mixes like Halle Berry, who won Best Actress this year!

Ummm... and have ya'all ever seen some of those 1/2 Filipino+Spanish+Chinese and 1/2 Japanese girls we got in Hawaii? Quite the delight as well!

All the things in my earlier post about the Ainu and Jomon came from what I read on the internet. If you do a search on the word "Jomon" with any search engine you will get a plethora of links.

Contrary to what you might think, interest in the Jomon has become somewhat of a craze in Japan. They are using it to justify their claims that they are unique and different from other asians especially the Coreans. The Japanese media has begun to glorify the Jomon as the founders of Japan. Funny thing is that the Jomon are always depicted by the Japanese media as appearing more caucasian rather than the more primitive looking aboriginal type that anthropologists believe they actully were. I suppose its because the Japanese do not want to think of themselves as descendants of primitive aborigines.

An interesting sidenote on this topic is that other groups are using it to further their own agendas. I read on one white supremicist site that the Jomon were in fact caucasion and this makes Japan really a white nation, thus explaining their economic success. On a native american site, they refute the idea that two different people could come together to form a nation. They say the Jomon must have been exterminated by the more advanced "mongoloid" types that later invaded Japan, since it's what happened to them.

I know as much about Ms. Fu and Mr. Leung as you - what I read in the paper. Anyway we could apply your same logic and conclude that Mr. Leung is quite immature for his age, but that might be kinda unsatisfactory to your question - why do people usually figure a woman dating a man twice her age isn't in it for his character, personality, and charms?

Speaking from the theoretical perspective, if a person is quite mature for his or her age, isn't it more likely that s/he would find a better fit in another person of the same age group who is also quite mature? Would be even easier to communicate, being of the same generation, growing up surrounded by a similar societal climate, having the same trouble relating to one's peers because of unusual maturity, etc. A 50-year old guy with a 50-year old's wisdom is not exceptional. He is average. The exceptional in general choose to seek out the exceptional because they have that choice.
