WHAT YOU SAY

T.H. Lien:
I agree, the fact that you can speak Chinese and attract girls is an advantage. However...it is by no means a racial advantage. It is an advantage that any bi/tri-langual person would have. Anybody that takes time to learn my language will get recognition from me...not just hapas. Actually...I would find it more intriguing if a white, black or pure latino guy started talking in Chinese more than I would be impressed by a hapa speaking Chinese. I feel that it should be expected out of hapas that they speak their ethnic language. It is advantageous for a white, black or latino to be fluent in Chinese....while it should be essential/fundamental for a Chinese hapa to speak Chinese.
I had no motivations of getting on the hapa guy's case about his exaggeration of his prowess with women....
...If it wasn't by the means of slandering Asian women's true preferences.
Yeah...

well what do you want me to do? if i am hot and very sexy and very attractive to not only asian women but pretty much every women on earth, then shouldnt i flaunt it. Would you rather i hide in the closet and where a paper bag over my very handsome face and cover my sexy body up, so no one will know how good looking i am? is that better?

Half Chyna Doll,
Yeah, I was 17 when I first visited this site hehe.......and Young insisted that I should change the 17 to 18 lol. Hawaiian pizza? Well, it's kind of like plain type with not much ingredients on it. But of course, lots of Pineapples and I love that hehe. What kind of pizza do you like then? Hey, how about your parents? How did your parents met?

Larriiiiii Kong:
You keep changing the number of "i" in your name. Try Internet Explorer Autocomplete, that stuff is great. You asserted that all mixed-race guys aren't as attractive as mostly pure Asian/Europeans (your personal opinion), and that mixed-race guys don't know either Chinese culture or European culture well at all (sometimes but not always the case), which was what I was objecting to. No one can be an advocate for everyone, especially on an online board. generally, it's hopeless to get on a guy's case about his exaggerating his prowess with women. us guys are analytical creatures, if we're even slightly more successful than our peers we want to know why so we can improve on our advantage. if we can't figure out a reason we'll make one up.
In earlier days, another hapa & I had a stupid strategy to meet girls at parties/clubs. We stood by the bar talking with each other in Cantonese while waiting for our drinks. Someone usually interrupted to introduce themselves and spout out some variant of, "Wow, you both speak Chinese? that's so cool." Or if not, we introduced ourselves and a good conversation started along those same lines very quickly. My guess is that this is an unfair advantage over other Asians based solely on our racial composition (I can't imagine two Chinese guys doing the same thing having any success, unless they were really hot). hahahaa I love being mixed. too bad he left and my university has no other chinese-speaking Eurasians now.

most people, mixed or not, Asian or white, don't just accept themselves period, but always strive to change themselves for whatever they believe is the better. could be beneficial or harmful depending on the aim.
Half-Chyna Doll:
Actually, their English was pretty good (the MP3s are floating around on audiogalaxy if ya wanna take a listen). Not like Hong Kong artists who will sing a whole song in Mandarin with cheesy English phrases thrown in but then can't give an interview in either language, or Korean rappers doing a Konglish remix of American rap.

half chyna doll,
nope, i'm not a bio major. i hated disecting worms back in HS. Whether is a science or an art major, all principle of studies channels down to one universal theory and that theory is Occam's Razor. There are numerous ways to achieve a solution, but the simplest one is the best solution. You can draw zigzags to connect two points, but why not just draw a straight line to connect them. What's the point of all this, human tends to find all kinds of solutions to adapt into a new enviroment . If no solutions are concluded, we're doomed to extinction. Therefore, we must react gradually to unexpected changes of our enviroment. These changes are carried on in generation(s) of mutation. Some species can mutate their body within 24 hours and some takes millions of years. For an example, average Japanese American has gotten taller compared to Japanese in Japan. How can this happen in period of 2-5 generations????
