[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
Half Chyna Doll,
Thanks, You're so kind. Is OK, let them criticized and say the truth.
Yup. Vancouver and Toronto are the biggest asian population there.
I read your post to Korean Poppa to be,
You said," People always tell us "Half kids" that we're so pretty/handsome and people find it fascinating that we're bicultural."...And, "Some people even prefer hapa people."
:D Yes. That was happened to me in Indonesia. Indonesian adores hapa people. U know most of hapa in Indonesia, become a model or an actor/actress. I got a chance became a model and an actress there. But I gave up. :D

SPRNZ,
Your English isn't perfect but it's not beyond understanding either. It might take a wee bit more effort to read your posts, but that's okay. I'm all for people who make an effort and who sincerely do their best. Continue to give it your best, because you will only get better.

["Not beyond understanding" isn't our standard. SPRINZ's posts are being allowed provisionally on a case-by-case basis. English ability shouldn't even be an issue on any of these forums. If you suddenly stop seeing her posts, you'll know what happened. --Ed]
To T.H. Lien,

To Editor, Thanks to posted my story.
Half Chyna Doll,
I was grew up and live in many countries with my family. I was live in Belgium, Venezuela and Indonesia. I just moved to BC, Canada about a year ago.
You can speak Chinese right? Is your dad never taught or talked to you in other languages besides English and Chinese?. Asked your dad to teach you to speak other languages. Never to late to learn.
To ESL teacher,
OK. I'm not fluent in English. English wasn't my daily conversation at home. But since I moved to Canada, I've to improved my English. Glad I found Goldsea, where we could exchanged and shared the stories and opinion to others. I've been posted in the Golsea poll for while. They could understand my English so far. Well, I'm still learning to speak well and write in English with eloquence.

hey sprnz,
your language is more mixed up than your blood line. start w/ a subject then follow with a verb. continue accordingly...

ESL Teacher:
hey hey, come on, it's a bad idea to insult potential customers/students. Besides, isn't the ability to understand and correct even the most twisted English supposed to be part of your job description?

to SPRNZ:
that's a shocking story! i would have done something similiar. I feel so sorry for you. I commend your courage in standing up to those bitches. They deserve a harsh punishment. Yup they're prob just jealous of your multilingual capabilities. It's very impresive that u speak 7 languages. I dont anyone else who can except my dad who knows over 10 (he wont tell exactly how many). lol. where do u live?

to korean poppa to be:
really now i don't think that it should be an issue at all. if u love her truly it shouldnt matter at all. Living in a multicultural area is much better. ive grown up in a primarily asian area but w/ many other races present. I have NEVER encountered any racism at all or discrmination. i never even thought about it until i started to read people's stories online. it's quite the contrary really. People always tell us "half kids" that we're so pretty/handsome and people find it fascinating that we're bicultural. Most hapa stereotypes are positive (but perhaps not true). Some people even prefer hapa people. I'm not trying to boast or say that i agree w/ these people's opinions, I'm just pointing out that it's not like your kids will be necessarily criticized. Always keep them in touch w/ both cultures and asians are always friendlier when u can speak their language. it's a huge asset to be bilingual. i cant stress thay enough. Maybe your children will have problems but that's the same w/ monoracial kids. People get teased for everything imaginable. Just teach them to stand up for themselves. Hapa support groups arent necessary but there are college groups for college kids.Instill pride in them and everything will turn out fine. good luck!

SPRNZ,
"They just jealous with us."
" Hey, You guys any problem seeing Hapa!...Who the one pretended? Yes. I'm Multi languages.
"And I'm pround being Mixed hapas. After all We're human being. Doesn't matter what bloods in the body. "
**********
Sorry but I did not understand a word of what you were trying to say. Please familiarize yourself with English before you say: "For extra information I could speak fluent 7 languages!!" Again.
