I thinks so. I don't think "short" women really have a problem with dates (or do they?.. what has been your experience, "Very short chinese girl"?)

4'11.. 5'0.. 5'1.. what's the difference?

But the more interesting question is: would you date a guy who's 5'0, 5'1, 5'2? Or are you looking for someone to "compensate" for your size?

Personally, I find "proportion" to be the more important factor -- not the absolute height of the woman.

your height really isn't an issue, unless you're always going after guys that are 6'4". set a limit of about 5'8" and i think you'd do fine. the important thing is how you conduct yourself. i've seen some really hot, sexy and confident short women who just know how to work it.

Before I came to university I thought that I could stereotype all asians as being short(in high school we had none who even approached 6 feet). But now that I am at university I must say that I was mistaken. Most chinese people are quite slender and there are a lot of short ones - but I have also noticed an abundance of tall ones. The majority of the tall ones are around 6'1/6'2(usually very thin) but I have also seen a couple of 6'4 range ones as well. Now I don't know if they are northern chinese of korean or japanese or whatever - but there are some tall asians in the school. But I must say that the foreigners with the best builds are Punjabi people (it's a region in India) these guys are like 6'4 and generally on the big side. There are two of them on the football team and another one of them has to be the strongest guy in the school. I hardly ever see any of these guys under 6' and if they are they are build like tanks. You guys Don't really seem to consider Indains/Arabs/Persians/Afghans as Asians in your discussions - something I find kind of strange since they are technically Asians. I am an Spanish guy and am very interested in other cultures. I know that Spanish and Italian people are not that tall, but North American Whites are pretty huge.

young Korean men average about 5'8" - 5'10", which is the same as Americans. they are just less fat or muscle bound. We aren't short AT ALL.

japanese are taller then chinese? i mean, i know it shouldnt be a big deal but thats not what i've been told. but then again, some area might have taller japanese.

my friend Chad just came back two days ago from the navy where he was living in japan, on the navy boat that is. he and others also get to walk around the places they stop at but he said mostly, they were in japan. the japanese cities they visit were yokahoma, and two other places but i cant remember what. he showed us with his hand that most( not all) of the people(middle age and young teen) were at my nose. i'm only 5'8 so that would make them 5'3 to 5'5. he's not the kind to make up storys.
