and woman are like 90% between 5'1 and 5'7? Sheesh.That's not that tall (I expected this).The netherland ppl are taller though.They remind me of the shandong people, beijing ppl, tianjin ppl, and people with north china proper(emphasis on china proper).
I think beijing men average 5'11, more than the 5'8.5 of americans. And females probably average 5'6 in beijing, more than the 5'4 american woman.And we are talking about the slightly prosperous beijing city.

But I dont agree that the cantonese are the least attractive of all china.

Or did you mean some other type of cantonese? Like the ones more west? If it was more west, they resemble thai people and we think of them as not very beautiful. But the ones in the hongkong region, are pretty beautiful, the girls have somewhat light skin and the guys are bit tanned.... but they have lots of pork chop woman...(and north has many whores). I cant have any good example of celebrities from hongkong... cause most of them are from shanghai (a place known for beauty). So i cant really argue. But we arent that short if your exlude the old men and ladies of past generations.
But... I think manchurians in heiliong jiang are wayyyy uglier than cantonese people and also the tibetans are also look very "hon suin" and also the whole west half of china is loaded with types of uglish people who arent that tall. And which group do u mean by "true cantonese" again?

No, there are quite a few tall Hoklos in Taiwan.

The Hoklos are said to be descendants of the "Min Yueh" people in Southern China. They had their own distinct culture and language prior to be assimilated by the "Han."

For more information about the "Hoklos" (they supposedly originate in Southern Fujian province) many of their descendants (outside of China) live in Taiwan and make up a large percentage of the overseas Chinese population in the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia- go check out www.hoklo.org, there are some interesting articles.

But, yes there are quite a few tall Hoklos and Hakkas out there.

I was reading some earlier posts and a Taiwanese dude was mentioning Hoklos and Hakkas. These people are not just found in Taiwan but throughout the Southern Coastal areas of China and Southeast Asia. There are some Cantonese who are also of "Hoklo" and "Hakka" ancestry.

The Hoklos are a very aggressive group of Chinese. The Fujianese and the Taiwanese are bolder in character than the Cantonese or Hakka. They are very "hot headed" and violent, more so than the other groups.

Many Hoklos and Hakkas are tall. Maybe the ones in Taiwan are mostly short but most Hoklos and Hakkas I've encountered in the Mainland are at least 5'10". There is nothern type Cantonese in that height range as well, but they are not sighted as much.

The true Cantonese (usually of dark complexion and short) are probably the least attractive of all the Chinese. It is because they were mixed with the Malays and with the Arab/Persian races during the Tang Dynasty, and these groups are just as short as the Cantonese.

What korean guy wrote cracked me up. It so happens that I've never done any of the things he said that you should do if you drink milk. I drink fat-free milk straight out of the refrigerator during each meal (3 or 4 times a day.) Although there has been some research that cow's milk is in fact, only good for calves and not humans, there have also been lots of data showing improved physical health as well as MORE MUSCULAR PHYSIQUE. Probably the protein present. I'm currently bodybuilding and it's a good supplement to eggs and lean meats during meals. Even though I won't grow in height anymore, at least I can still grow buff.
