A question to the girls (of any race):

What is more repelling to a woman when considering dates?

A short man or a man with a fat face?

It seems like white women are the most vocal against dating short men, but they also seem the most open to being with a guy shorter than them.

Am I right?

Angelique,

You'll have to tell us which dress and shoes you chose...Happy promming!

AC Dropout,

I typed in the URL but couldn't get the page on the funky heels. But I'll go dig out a book on fashion in China one of these days.

Hmmm...come to think of it, there aren't too many books on Chinese or Asian fashion, are there?

to drbang,

hey there. you know i've always been super attracted to cute asian men but the better the looking, the more they only want white girls. they don't give me the time or day. they walk pass me with their nose turned up. and i would be all sad and hurt. b/c i found them so cute and handsome and smart and all that.

well that made me sad so i would stop chasing after them. i could never be white or blond or blue eyed. i felt like i could never meet their standard or please em. so i just drifted away ...to other cultures and races. i just wish so many asian men weren't passing us up b/c it hurts.

BeiJinG AnGeLiQue,

If you wear traditional garments to the Prom I'm sure you will stand out to say the least. I'm sure a tight sexy ChiPao with an eternal slit up the side is much more fashionable these days.

Hope you have a good and safe time.

Hey you all! well i am Indian [and obviously have a double eye lid fold] my friend is Korean and her brother has a double fold, but the reason is because when he was little her mother put some sort of tape on his eyes that would create a fold, her mother also tried it on her but it did not work. Why do you think she would do this to her brother when he was so little and really did not have a choice in deciding whether or not he would have wanted a fold in his eye?

height,

5'9 is fine. I know lots of AFs who would like to go out with a guy who's 5'9. Good for you!

Soul Search,

I wouldn't know what to compare it to.

I mean you learn all the stero-types and racial slurs. You appreciate old Gaelic Irish names, and laugh with them about their stubborness. You laugh with Italian about infamous "sauce" vs. "gravy" debate. You laugh with Orthidox Greeks as being morally upstanding. You laugh with Jewish women when they question their JAPiness. You laugh with NYrican about their terrible Spanish.

As a kid you all are friends. When you grow up due to the greater social pressure people will tend to stick with their own. But when childhood friends meet as adults, its all good.

With those childhood experiences it give you insight that ethnic whites also deal with the Old World, New World dilemma that Asians deal with.

Oh shit! I'm getting underpaid? Jaye, are you for real? Man this really gets my goat. What the fl***! This sucks. I get plenty of tall tail, but money means a lot more to me. We shorties have to start lobbying for equal treatment and equal pay. Hey if moronic white folk can get their idiotic "reverse discrimination" to fly, I think short folk can get some laws passed forbidding the widespread discrimination inflicted upon us. Why isn't Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, or the like fighting for the rights of short people. Actually screw the rights I just want my $3,000 bucks a year I'm not getting. With it I could probably get more choice poon tang.

BTW, free Tibet and create a Palestinian state.
