I know a lot of white girls with tall, but dull and effeminate white guys who got no expression or style.

I got more virility and firepower even though I ain't tall. Those white girls know it too.

I saw that story about Chinese getting limb lengthening surgery on CNN Headline News today. My initial reaction was to criticize these people as being insecure and shallow. But you know, I really don't think that's the case.
Anyway, it must really hurt.

hi, im a tall, sophisticated asian woman. im 5'8" but thats not good enough for me. to raise my self esteem, i like to wear 4" heels even though they're uncomfortable. im independent and strong because with my heels on, i surpass most men and rival the tall ones. i wont date men my height or shorter because they dont deserve a rare gem like me. im exotic and special. give me a tall, buff, sexy blonde white man, so i can look him in the chest when we talk. nothing but the best for me.

hi, im a short asian girl (5') and i like my men to be at least a foot taller than me. taller guys are sexier, more manly, and theyre sucessful. i learned this by intensively researching all my cosmo and vogue magazines and watching educational programs like passions and days of our lives. shorter men just won't do. you guys may think im shallow, but im not. i think that personality in a guy is farrrr more important. so why cant i find a man?! all im looking for is a guy that's asian, 6'2", funny, handsome, sexy, muscular, has a 34" waist, has no chest hair, has a big penis, is sucessful, doesnt leave the toilet seat down, cooks well, cleans behind the ears, no butt hair, nice toes, size 12 feet, and oh yeah, has a good personality. is that too much to ask? boohoo =( am i doooomed to be single forever? why oh why cant i find a man?

im a cute, independent, strong female with TONS of self esteem =) i believe that women are equal to men. so wheres my tall dark and handsome hunk to compensate for my height and make me feel protected?

I'm a 6'4" average looking Asian Male with poor english, and the only amusing advantage that I see with my height is that I can get the tall cute white girls. :) I have no money, english is bad, and not pretty. i'm not very special, but tall helps a lot... yup, that and size 14 feet. :D

what surprises me is that by their 30's, some people have still not accepted themselves. are outward appearances so important that a person would resort to breaking their legs?

"Hundreds" of young Chinese women and men have recently endured the painful-for-months "Ilizarov procedure" to gain a few inches in height to supposedly improve their social and professional status. According to a May New York Times dispatch, the $6,000 procedure involves breaking bones in the shins or thighs, then manually adjusting special leg braces four times a day that pull the bones slightly apart, then waiting until the bones grow back and fuse together (which usually takes about six months, plus a three-month recovery). Said one 33-year-old, 5-foot-tall woman (aiming for 5-4): "I'll have a better job, a better boyfriend, and eventually a better husband. It's a long-term investment." [New York Times, 5-5-02]
