Although I hate to admit it, your assertions are most true for professions that require authority. For example, I would say that school teachers, drill sergeants, police sheriffs are the type of jobs tilted against short men. Especially teaching.

Swedes, Dutch and the Danes are the tallest race of people (Nordics. I was in Holland and Denmark, and the men were more or less about 6 feet tall on average, and the women 5'9". Korean men average about 5'9", women about 5'5". Northern Chinese men are probably about an inch taller on average than Koreans. Other Chinese are DEFINATELY shorter than Koreans on average. NO if and buts.

beauty matters ALOT more than height. would u rather have (for a bf/gf) an ugly tall person or a beautiful short person? height matters but not as much as some people think. i'm 5'2" (female) and i'm okay with it. i find that most guys dont want their girls to be too tall.

it's funny. it seems that all short people have this hatred against the world. it must be a huge inferiority complex. look at napoleon. look at hitler. if you're short and you have a bad attitude, you should expect others to pick on you. be nice.

nobody really notices height unless you're midget short like 5'6" or tree pole tall like 6'4". 5'9"-5'11" is average.

Strange, strange.

I am 5'8" and depending on where I am (I live in NY), I feel different.
When I am in Queens where there are much more Hispanics and Asians, I am taller than MANY of them. Definitely above average.
If I am walking in Manhattan (much more white people), I am shorter than most people. Hell, many, many white women are taller than me.
Height is in the eye of the beholder.

6'2" is medium height for Swedish (Germanic race).5'11" is medium height of most other races, including South Koreans and probably Northern Chinese. Regarding all races of mankind:

- < 5'8 : small people (Southeast Asians,some Siberian Asians)

- 5'8"-5'11 : medium height people

- > 5'11" : tall people (Western, Northern,Central Europeans).

do you even have to ask? in this culture, tall = sexy
and so, a lot of decent men have become bitter and angry. that explains your 'napoleon complex'. if a bunch of women come along and reject you because "you're too short for dating", i assume you can only withstand that kind of assault for so long, unless you had a heart of steel. to be honest, not many guys are that thick-skinned.

i'm 5'3" and korean, and i hate it. sure, height is just a physical aspect, but there are so many disadvantages in life that i can't even explain.

ck, I really don't think height is that important at all. My boyfriend is 5'8, but because of his good posture and the way he carries himself with pride, he looks taller. He's perfect just the way he is. I wouldn't want him to be 6', too tall for me!

if you're short, you don't get picked for many top jobs like managerial or leadership positions. people generally don't like to look down to listen to authority. that's all most of asian leaders are tall or above average height. nobody listens to the short guy, even if he's very smart.
