To the Ed: Why do you only focus on Japanese Americans? Because do you have a special feeling and curiosity for Japanese? Hehehe. I see here a lot of a "bashing" toward Japanese Americans. To me. it's a "warped jealousy" though. Anyway, I hope you make the same versions of Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc. I'm looking forward to it.

I often wondered what do majority of Japanese Americans feel about Japan?
Do you feel any real connection? Follow Japan's events? Most Japanese Americans are 3rd, 4th generations so I'm carious.
Japanese Americans seem more similated than Chinese Americans in American society as a whole.

In spite of all this bickering about Korea being the great country that it is, I find Suze's post most intersteing. Why don't we turn this into a Korean American identity forum too. Koreans seem to be the ones with more issues concerning identity.

First, Americans liberated Korea from Japan because of Russia and Chinese Threat. Korea always has been "Geographical Importance" for all four powers US, Russia, China and Japan.

Second, Korea payed off IMF Debt. Read a Newspaper!!(JJ the half-Nip Moron.)

Third, United States needs much of Korea support as much Korea needs United States for there economic and political need.

Fourth, Without Korea supporting capitalist world. The whole Asia would be communist!!! Then what happens to United States???

Fifth, The thousand years when Korea fought China, Mongols, and Hideyoshi(Japan). Did United States ever existed in this modern world?? Still today Korea exist. Korea is not like Ireland, India, or even Phillipine!!! Your brain is in your own Ass!!!
