I've been to japan about six times. Two of my family members are japanese. My aunt's from chiba and my older brother is married to a japanese girl, so i know ALOT about japanese people. Sadly, *SOME* japanese people still believes in white racial superiority. In other words, they've been watching too many hollywood jew-propaganda movies - Pro white, asians suck. From what i have heard from my sister in law, Japanese are being fed this propaganda till this day. They've been taught that white-euro is good and japanese are inferior and to apologize and respect for their race by the whites. As for some japanese girls who are "flocking" and lusting after gaijins are actually very low class kogal type of women where most western men find them attractive. Most of them are also engaged in questionable occupations. These girls are just an embarrassment to the japanese race. The girls of good families who attend university or working women overwhelmingly prefer their own. Asian women of today have been so brainwashed by feminism that they should be assertive ect, so they feel justfied in hostility. Feminists have managed to implant a kind of subconscious resenments of asian males (we're supposed to be the racist evil, sexiest pigs that keep asian women down). So this resentment must also play a part. I personally don't see what these girls see in white guys. Alot of asiphlies who goes for an asian chick over his won has serious problems. Typically these guys are just joined military and met some girl overseas and get laid for the first time in their life. Another factor is, (white guy actually told me this) some white guys are just insecure losers who want asian women because they don't feel such a wimp next a woman with a body like a 10 year olds. BOTTOM LINE - No matter where one goes or who is the male, the fact is that is the Japanese race and it's women specially that are under nothing less than genetic attack by all sorts of putrid mud males. Very sad..

In America I see a lot of Japanese girls and guys with their hair bleached blonde/orange. I don't know if it's just a trend, or if they really want to look more white. Also skin-whitening products are very popular among the Japanese.

I like Japan because of the culture they have to offer in conjunction with the urban life there. But from what I've seen they still have lots of reforming and national identity issues to resolve. 1 - have they have such an obssession with "white skinned" persons. You see it in the anime, videos, billboards, pop idols. It's sad, and I think that's the identity problem. However socially they've been repressed to conform to certain ideals of how to look, so maybe that obssession has something to do with it because of "white" people's varied looks. 2 - there's still an uncomfortableness with foreigners. It's either you Japense or you just plain foreigner. The group mentality in Japan if you know what I mean.

JTHM, Asiophile: i love your taste, hehe.. Gackt is... whoa.. i've loved Luna Sea's music for the longest time, and Inoran & Sugizo are my current favourites, although i used to be crazy abt J too (the guy has STYLE.. have you seen that pic with him back to camera and that gorgeous white bass of his? sigh*) ...and these guys are _talented_. then there's ex-X Japan's Yoshiki. whattabody. *spaces out* of course, my taste varies, leaning toward the somewhat androgynous look since i also like Dir en Grey's bassist Toshiya (find a no-makeup pic if you can, the guy looks good anyway ^^) and leader Kaoru (but who cares about me? back to the topic...) of course these are the guys in the music (entertainment, in the case of sorimachi, takenouchi etcetc) industry, so looks are somewhat expected... but boy are they _hot_... not that i'm complaining, who would? ^_^

I don't know your actual race or gender. You claim to be a white male, but it seems to me that you are just trying to incite hatred between Japanese and whites.
