WHAT YOU SAY

AC Dropout:
ha ha yeah, I hear you..
My preference for the headbutt originated from my boxing days in my teens against some nasty characters in and out of the ring. Boxing gyms usually cater to ghetto types and often you learn effective systems but more importantly a mental, physical conditioning and psychological "hardening" to combat. However, I was not very succesful during my 4years in the ring with an amatuer record (at welterweight) of 9wins 10losses and 8 DQs
[disqualifications...due mostly to the head butt. Overall I learned how to take and dish-out punishment, and the BIG difference between" set competition and the street fight.
Nevertheless, the headbutt is not for everyone (and to clarify : in the execution of the butt you use the FOREHEAD not your face.)

AM Truth:
The problem I find is Asian parents constantly reinforce the development of academic excellence at the expense of physical or what I like to call "primal" qualities in Asian youth. Often when faced with racism the Asian parents usually [not always] advise their kids to ignore and focus on academics and "beat" their racist bullies minds...often a unrealistic scenario. I believe a balanced approach is necessary what my father calls the "armed diplomat". Personally, I was lucky to have a father figure with an extensive military background { he belonged to ROK military intelligence} who instilled in me many skills and allowed me to make assinine choices { he opposed me boxing } to hopefully be a warrior {or as my mother calls me an "educated thug". I believe it is up to our present generation ie. us to instill a martial and scholar mindset in our future generations.

SOG;

Backbones come from the environment you grow up in. Since most of the Asians from Asia don't have to put up half the racist bullshit the Asians from the US have to, they have more time to develop their true potential as human beings.

We on the other hand have to practise martial arts to protect ourselves and our love ones as well as a form of therapy in living in this racist society.

Unlike the blacks and other minorities, we have the martial arts to fall back on as a training tool, spiritual guidance, stress relief and getting physically fit (Nothing like hitting a bag a 100 times or doing a kata to express myself as Bruce Lee would say)as well as learning about our culture.

I hope to teach more Asian youths growing up here the benefits of martial arts. However it remains a losing battle as many are too brainwashed by MTV and the white media to do anything else. I only hits them when that faithful day comes somewhere when someone calls them 'Chink or Gook' or whatever to them and they can't do a goddamn thing about it because they don't know how to defend themselves.

I have been taking taekwondo for a long time. My grandmaster is really well known and a highly respected korean grandmaster. We have been sleeping together. I feel guilty about what we have been doing. He's married and has kids and grandkids too. But I want him all to myself.

K.rae,

Yeah USA has a lot of issues right now. And because our economy is in a slump we can no longer just hide behind the piles of money and say were doing something right.

Remember there is a time and a place for everything....even a drag out, throw down fight among classmates.

latina loving korean hombre,

Head butt? ...Look I plan to keep my face look handsome for a long time to come. I've never been clocked in the head in a competition or a street fight. I plan to keep it that way.

I been clocked a few time when I was training. But that's more than enough for me.

AM Truth,

Don't use 9/11 as an excuse not to stand up for yourself. I doubt if you beat up a racist will the authorities label you a terrorist.

SOG,

Come to my neck of the woods sometime.
