Indian guy,

Fill out the category you feel most comfortable with. But, ask yourself if Caucasians will really accept you as one of them? Will the Middle Easterners accept you as one of them? Increasingly, the Indians are grouped together with other Asians, while Pacific Islanders (ie Filipinos) want a separate category to fit into an underrepresented group qualifying for certain benefits. Other than that, we should all be under the "Asian" label.

Asian Unity Guy,
I'm there with you on some of the commments you made. The media does not make it easier for any one that is "non-white" As a Black person, I live with it every day much more than you. Even in this day and time, there are still people that if they had their way would send non-whites packing. I feel like this, life is short, the world is getting smaller and every race is here to stay.
And to answer you other question as to the sellout. I see it as an adventure to them (meaning both races). Each race has hread some sexual myth about the other, so they wish to explore.

The sad part is some get in too deep and can't get out. Meaning into drugs, drinking, bad relationships etc. I guess that once they've crossed the line it's hard to come back with your head held high. Just remember that there are good and bad in every race.

However, I have a love for Asian men. When a person has been with a loser/dead beats. It's like a breath of fresh air to have someone truthly respect you and look pass the color of your skin.

I myself have been in a relationship with an Asianman for 2years. He respects me and my daughter. Treats us with so much kindness that it's scary at times. And in return, I give him the same and much more. Like I said, when a man can handle his business, then I can handle mine.

I dont understand why Indians have to term themselves superior to other asians. It's like comparing apples and oranges. But its true that we ar e different from asians who hail from the far east thanks to our caucasian features and different from caucasians because of dravidian strains in our gene pool.
In fact I'm not even sure what racial category I fall in. When I fileld out a job application these were the categories they had white caucasian, Hispanic, African American, Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern...I couldnt choose any of these...so would someone care to tell me what category I fall into ?
Indians tend to do well in America for the same reasons that the Chinese and most Asians do well..our family values and the support we get from our families when growing up. Ancient Indians did make significant Mathematical and scientific discoveries but so did the chinese. Indian women win so many beauty contests (which are not based on looks alone) because of their fluency in English as compared to women from other nations; even English speaking ones.

This is my country. And, I am here to stay whether you or the whites like it or not.

What is the "American way?" It sure ain't fun if you are an Asian man. We put up with the racial/sexual jokes and stereotypes day in and day out. For one thing, the media has more than its own share in committing to this.

America is great, but it can be better, don't you agree? It is always the oppressed and the colored minorities who reminds society that more needs to be done to make this a more equitable and free society. We are the true bearers of the democratic ideals.

I, for one, do not stand for any status quo. People always tell me to go back to China and compare the lifestyle there. Mind you, that I have only been to China once in my life as a tourist from the United States. The USA is my one and only country. Don't tell me to compare with a land that is not my own nation. The comparing should be done here.

There is no one "American way" because we all have differing experiences in our daily endeavors of life. Often, it is stratified along racial/gender lines.

Mixing into the melting pot is an ideal, but do you realize not all are allowed to partake? Some are being bred out of existence due to self-hate.

Why is it always only the East Asian, Southeast Asian and Native American women selling out on their men like flies?

Asian men are "MEN" in every sense of the word. They posses this silent strength that I love. Their not all in your face, calling you out your name. Their actions are louder than words. They don't have to rough you up to get a point across, just silent strength.

I don't know about anyone else, but I enjoy having a "real" man take charge. Talk about waiting to exhale, weee!. I say all this because most Black women have had to wear the skirt and the pants. This is not a put down to the brother's that take care of their business, because there are a few good ones out there and they are taken.

When a man can handle his "business", then it makes it easier for me to handle mine (home and bedroom wise).

Asianmen, I adore you and love you madly.
