i have some dialoge about interracial marriages & bi-racial children, i dont think it's a good ideal bc mariage is hard as it is & when your from a different racial background it's even more difficult. i,m half black & korean & i alway went to korean church when i was young & the kids use to call us gumdingie which kinda means nigger & they older koreans use to look down at my mom bc she married a black man & has black babies. korans never acceptd me & my sister & black people alway thought we looked chinese so we were alienated by both races & we could hate either race bc that was who we were. being mixed is an eye-opening experience but i wouldnt recommend it

I say that each to his own. We are all beautiful in God's sight because he made us. When you diss on others' races, you are also dissing yourself since everybody is human and just one race. Nobody never was pure in the beginning. We are every color of the rainbow. The problem people have with so called "race-mixing" is jealousy.
That's the whole thing in a nutshell.
Envy. Then they try to make themselves look better by putting down others. I am a multiracial Black American and wish peace. Today, you have to get whomever makes u happy; regardless of what they are. Second, some people get mulattos just for show. All humans are exotic looking.
People have told me I was exotic looking and I just shrug it off. It dosen't matter.
A little history here:

African Americans are multiracially Native American, Hispanic and Caucasian. We have slavery to thank for it; the many places where they dropped us for hard labor.

jmushorn,

what our races have in common is not just of the formal kind of mythologies. Whole lifestyles of different races are comparable.
The quest for power or strength is a feature of (nearby) all cultures with a pagan background.Originally there was no law,no god,there was just consensus how it should be managed for the community to survive.To which cultural progresses it led?
-elaborated martial arts forms existed on all continents,not only in Asia;
-forms of recreation and meditation resembled each other on all continents.
-the worldview was relatively open,thus people learnt from other tribes about different aspects of life.
This is what meant with "pagan" (the word "pagan" is from Latin "paganus" meaning "man from the hinterland",not controlled by the ruler of a state or city).

Are you reffering to the dragon which is universal to asian and white primitive cultures? Or is there some other kind of mythology?

jmushorn,

I'm not Hapa but I have lived among whites for quite a long time. A striking point was that I was never interested in anything which had to do with whites(!) until I learnt that there had been different pagan cultures in Europe -before Christianity spread.These non-Christian cultures had much more in common and were easier to compare with Asian cultures. Finally I discovered that we all have the same roots and I became more and more interested in the roots of my white mates.
Most people don't think of that we share pagan roots,but I think the knowledge of it would make it easier to combine elements of both cultures with each other.
