WHAT YOU SAY

[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
To Hello Kitty,

I sincerely welcome your apologies.
That was so modest of you.
I now also wish to apologize for what I said to you and your race as a whole. :)

Actually, I'm a born Catholic Christian but I do not practise that religeon. I do not comply to dogmatic faith of Christianity and any other sect or man-made religeon. I am a free-thinker. I have a mystical ideology and philosophy in life (I do not belong to a cult!). I just wish to clarify that I'm not saying that you should and must be in the opinion that s. east & east asian facial features are on the same level of attractiveness. Every person is entitled to his/her own opinion. There were just misinterpretations (maybe, even NOW!) both in my side and your side. You see, English is not our first language! I thought when you express your opinions in your second post regarding the facial features of Asian women you were being racist again. But you were not, you were just voicing your own views on what is attractive for you. Okay.

ALL ARE BEAUTIFUL or to be more realistic, I'll put it this way-- ALL "CAN BE" ATTRACTIVE PHYSICALLY, yeah, physically. I do not impose this belief on others, just sharing my points of view. It is clear that we do not share the same thoughts and views on this subject. Well, lets just leave it as it is. Maybe, someday we'll both know what is the truth. Peace and Good luck. :)

Well, while we're all offering our opinions of beauty in here, i'll put in my two cents too. And please don't anyone take this personally. It's just MY opinion.

I think Hispanic women are, on average, the most beautiful women on the planet. ON AVERAGE being the key words. Why? Well, i'm looking at it this way. There are most certainly many, many beautiful Asian, white, and black women on the planet, but i've also seen many, many butt ugly Asian, white, and black women. Of all the races and types of women, the "type" with the fewest ugly women are Hispanics/Latinas, in my opinion. Hence, my assertion that Hispanic women are the most beautiful on average. Hispanic women are the perfect blend of all the physically attractive features regarded as such by many cultures. Probably because they are a mix of all these cultures. Well, black women are also voluptuous but i'm a sucker for long, straight hair. Sorry, having an opinion means having your own prejudices and long, straight hair is my prejudice. Of all the types of women, my observation has been that Hispanic women have sought plastic surgery the least and i don't think this is all due to economic factors. Most simply don't need it.

Asian women are by far the thinnest women in the whole world. That is a fact i don't think anyone can deny. Especially S.E. Asian women. Man, i've seen so many Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Thai girls who all look like Kate Moss. They definitely need to eat more. In terms of facial attractiveness i think Asian and Hispanic women are equal. The body is where the difference lies.

You see, i'm not into this waif supermodel aesthetic. You know, the Calistic Flockhart/Kate Moss/Lara Flynn Boyle anorexic hermaphrodite look. That's so disgusting! Give me the full-figured, voluptuous, hour glass WOMANLY figure! That's what i'm talkin' about.

Now before any of you go try to pull that "you're a sell-out" line on me, let me tell you that my significant other is a beautiful Asian woman. And i chose her for a reason. Because she's got a full figure, curves like the Matterhorn at Disneyland. But just because i'm in love with a beautiful Asian woman doesn't mean i have to say that all Asian women are the most beautiful creatures walking the face of this earth. Because, as i said, i do not believe that is true for the most part. I've seen many drop dead gorgeous Asian women, but i've seen more drop dead gorgeous Hispanic women.

Anyway, that was my two cents. And i'm sure a lot of guys don't agree with me because they're probably into the stick figure look -- so in that case, Asian women and some white women are right up your alley. Good luck!

It't Me:

Very eloquently put. Also by saying "
I dont want to argue anymore. it's shit nonsense " you effectively insulted whatever I may have to say in the future. But that's ok. With a worthy oppenent like you, I don't mind having my arguements labelled shit before they can even be uttered.

You mentioned : " you cannot go on generalizing S.E. asian females because you haven't seen all of them yet" Now that was a really cute statement ( I mean it! ) IF I had seen them all, then it wouldn't be generalizing anymore, would it? The power ( and fun! ) of generalizing lies in the fact that one does not need any statistical proof to back what one is claiming.

Regarding the body. You are saying that because of my " wickedness" and generalizing had angered you, that it somehow justified your hurling insults at not just me, but an entire group of innocent, bystanding east asian women.
Dont let anger get the best of you sweetheart, especially in an intelligent debate.

As for your accusing me of being a white wannabe. No I am not blaming you. I was only making fun of you to show that you projected your mentality on me, which is not YOU. I have no problem with accusations whatsoever, honestly, because I believe in the freedom of speech for everyone, which includes you.

Sorry my sentence confused you. Metaphorphoze should read metamorphoze.
English is not me first language either.
Yes it's exactly what I mean. I think our East asian facial features are better than those of S.E. asians. This does not negate my saying s.e. features are ugly. How so you ask? Well I believe the colour green is better looking than red. That doesn't automatically translate into that the colour red is bad-looking. So there you go with your insightful, but highly subject analysis. As for this making me a racist? I beg to differ. It may shock you to learn that there exist people who are objective and detached enough to praise the facial features of a particular race/group without being an actual racist. To show just exactly how your reasoning is flawed, i will give you an example. Say a white guy. He says " oh I am not really attracted to asian women because they dont have blond hair and I only like blond women" Does this statement make him a racist? Not in the strictest sense of this word it doesn't.

Your right in saying there is no Cosmic truth to which race is the best looking. However you are ignoring one fact: I, Hello Kitty, was merely stating my own PERSONAL views and in no way did I claim those to be the Cosmic Truths. You thought too highly of me :P

Is whiteness "truly" beautiful? I trust you dont believe so, whereas I secretly suspect there might be some truths to it. Take, for example, blond hair. A recessive trait. Why does it have such a prevalence in a population when it doesn't promote the SURVIVAL of the vehicle ( meaning the person ) carrying its gene? Something for you to think about. As for the brain-washing? Well there's no groud for arguing that since we cannont, for the present, simply just remove ourselves from all this mainstream white influence.

ALL ARE BEAUTIFUL? Keep in mind that your relious beliefs ( ie, christianity ) are not ubiquitously shared. Make sure you do not, this time, project your religous views onto others. Always keep it objective. Keep in mind that by occsionally adopting others' point of view wil make your arguement much MUCH stronger and airtight. I for one do not subscribe to Christianity and I zealously defend my RIGHT to rate the looks of others. Call me shallow if you like ( you certainly can!! it's your right!) but I have no moral qualms about thinking whatever I like, so long as the outcome harms nobody. You might say that this "propaganda" somehow caused you emotional distress and that it constituted harm. Well, you did CHOOSE to read my statements, and you did CHOOSE not to look away as soon as it started to anger you, no? I will not be responsible for your actions ( choosing to view my remarks ) because lets face it, I did not physically FORCE you to expose yourself mentally to my words, did I?

As for being insensitive, that I admit. I am apologizing to you now, because it is you, a person who's obvious decent and intelligent, whom I have offended with my insensitivity. If it were any other person, I would die before I apologized simply because I just dont see why the hell I should.
As for boosting our image to the world. Again you thinkly too highly of me and my sentences. The whole world came onto this board? Yes it would be bad only if
it really happened! Please be realistic and dont pose any hypothetical question.

In closing, I want to say sorry for
making you mad and hurting your feelings on a personal note. But I refuse to take back my statements that east asians are better-looking than s.e asians because that's exactly how I think, and I WILL vocalize it, because I am entitled to doing so.
