WHAT YOU SAY

I know *some* beauty is in the eye of the beholder ie: I personally think that Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are completely average looking, others think that they're hot for some reason. Ben Affleck looks really old, and Mariah Carey looks like some type of light skinned monkey in a tank top.

BUT I think that whole "it's not what's on the outside, there's inner beauty" is a whole lot of crap. LOOKS DO MATTER A LOT and I also believe that some faces are regarded as attractive than other faces. Gorgeous faces will be regarded as very beautiful by most people. MOST not ALL. AND I'm talking about the really, extremely, beautiful faces that only 1 in a million are born with. Don't refute my opinions, I accept yours. Don't you really realize that there really isn't an answer to what is beautiful. My def'n of beautiful only describes the 0.1 % of the world population, those genetically blessed with symmetrical features, large eyes, small nose, high cheekbones, etc. I also think that lack of typical features makes one stunning. But that's just my opinion. You can say all those features are ugly all you want. Yes, I know I have always wanted a big huge bulbous nose.

ok ok ..forget it .. i dont know why i'm making such a big deal about this ...whoever is reading this , just do whatever you do to yourself even if you want surgery . surgery isnt that bad unless you come out into someone nobody recognizes . and for people who are calling specific features ugly or unattractive , you gotta be checking out a lot of people to know that(if not , dont say a feauture is ugly on this board or else you'd get ppl bitching at you). and there are so many models of all races who are beautiful and just have different feautures from each other. anyways , for all you guys who like their women , natural or fake...whatever turns you on .

man alot of misconceptions here. wtf? i have a bridge, a great nose that makes for a perfect profile - big eyes, the creases and i'm no mix. -don't you think perfect asian noses look best? i sure do. and asian eyes when beautiful -anime eyes - , make caucasian eyes pale in comparison. White eyes are kinda deep set in the sockets. - the idea of beauty is all a personal perception issue - plus, plenty of my taiwanese (chinese) family are like this. i think we Chinese are the most diverse group. looking at China itself from a geographical point of view, the land is huge. We touch up to Korea and Manchuria all the way down to Vietname and all the way west to India. We represent the Asian race. I have been told i looked 'off Chinese' by asians, whatever. been mistaken for korean, viet, etc. weird.

*the truth & babypolarbear*
High cheek bones are IN? Gosh. I absolutely hate my cheekbones that are like that.
And excuse me, the truth/[slur on]babypolarbear?!? What your talking about is what YOU think is pretty and NOT what everyone else thinks! Yes, EVERYONE knows the "ideal" but it doesn't mean we all think they are extremely attractive.
Mind you, what you're talking about is the Caucasian's ideal!!! And it's NOT all about symmetry and balance!! Gosh! The "ideal" beauty can be brought up by anything that matters most. Which in the olden days are religion or similarity to Gods or whatever. But these days it's the Media. Whichever actress is brought to fame is considered the "ideal" and they start from there. And SINCE the Asian Media was exposed to the Caucasian Media that's started long before them, we do take in some of the features of their actresses!!
And yes there ARE cultures that favor large noses and probably the ones that favor small eyes that I didn't know of. There's some islands that favor fat girls with big features (because it means they have alot to eat) until they had an access to Caucasian Television! Then other islands that favor dark skin, broad noses & faces because of some other reason.
And you BAKA! (the truth/[slur on]babypolarbear) If you want proof that there ARE people who think Salma Hayek & Christy Turlington as the least bit ugly... Me! I think Salma Hayek does look exotic that makes her interestingly sexy& good... but that's just coz I'm very open-minded (until it comes to myself.) She does NOT fit MY standard. Don't like Salma Hayek's masculine jawline & her rather masculine eyelids and rather flared nose. Christy? Yes she is very pretty JUST BECOZ I'm very open-minded. But if I had to measure her to my standard, well, I'll comment about her on the dimples on her nose and thinking that there's a lack of semitry in her face! Ugh. And hello? Isn't the REAL Caucasian ideal the blonde and blue-eyes? Other than that, I think those girls are great and good-looking if it wasn't for you pointing out that everyone MUST think that, too. Yo, and Asians favour pale skin & rounded face so Salma Hayek would'a been OUT OF IT!
I have to agree cosmetic surgery does boost your confidence for the ppl who need it. But the people who realize that they are great without needing cosmetic surgery are even more happier. But only if they realize it.
How do you know babies look at people because they think they are attractive? Babies could be looking at 'our attractive people' because they think that they're ugly!!!
I'm Asian have big slanty double-lid deep set eyes, mediumish-smallish nose, high cheek bones, fair skin, oval face and a mouth I couldn't describe apart from "it looks like Britney Spears's." Babies also look at me alot. Uh.. of which I interprete that they think I'm ugly. Hahaha! I also think high cheek bones are no good look, prefer tan skin.
Hey! Asian Domatrix? I like guys with medium-sized eyes because I dont want it big like mine. Hehe. Maybe one-lid... I also know a friend with big eyes she says she likes guys with chinky eyes because she has big eyes. Hehe. So people like opposites, too! *^^*
The good looks is all what you think. Don't you know anyone who you think are incredibly beautiful but they think they're ugly? I actually feel sorry for them. :"(
