I think that people just want what they don't have. I remember there was this one point in my life where I tried to make my eyes look more asian by applying thick black eyeliner on the top of my lid, I have a crease in the lid, and i tried to make the crease smaller because I envied those who didn't have a crease. and now i am reading about how there are some ladies out there that want to get surgery to get that crease. So my conclusion is....we all want what we don't have. but will you really be happy with what you will be when you have it? by the way, I stopped using the black eyeliner.

That's quite interesting information...I would have never known, and now I don't feel so bad...but it still looks odd when I'm wearing my summer clothes....if I'm really full and you peek at me from the side, it looks like I'm 2 months pregnant. Yeech.

Thanks for the great tips, but you know what they say about frosh 15! =) I play lots of sports, not all competitively since last year though...so confidence is not my problem -- I apologize if from the last post, made myself sound like a total wuss =). I assure you I'm not, just a big problem with the mid-section.

I'm best at short distance running (sprints), but try to avoid it as much as possible because they've made my calves look like tree trunks. and my quads...yuck. it sucks that most of the sports require you to run and use so much of your leg muscles...

I was just wondering if anyone knew a good excercise specifically for the abs....and also if they knew a specific move that works wonders.

I'd rather scream and yell about this topic. Look, I get fed up with everybody telling me things that deteriorate me. I get negative feedbacks about my looks like almost everyday of my high school life. It drives me crazy. Not one day would go by when some one wouldnt say--'You're ugly.' I even heard this guy that I knew that said I was the ugliest person that he has ever laid eyes on(if I'm ont mistaken)
So my point is,if you do not look pretty, it is time for a change in your lives ladies. All this eventually will boil down to one thing: Spirit. You have to understand that there is more beauty to everything than just looks. maybe there is a reason to why you look the way you do. Maybe God wants you to find the answers to what you have been unconsoiously trying to seek. Since looks are what your eyes can see, you are indirectly decieved. i know this b/c I thought I was speaking to God. I looked horrible. I asked him how will I go through this, with everybody saying that I'm ugly and stuff? then God answered-' You gotta find something in you that is NOT ugly.'Then you will have beauty. that's what i'm tring to do now. You have eyes to see, but make sure that you open the eyes that will help you feel and overcome.

to the ppl that have a single fold eyelid and want to have a sergury for it, i say go for it. i need to do it neways, and to the ppl that say that it's not okay, well, that's your opinion. no, i'm not doin it to look white, but because i like how it looks, and because i have a problem with my lashes touching my eye.
