WHAT YOU SAY

[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
You know what? Im soooo ****ing tired to hear some of you ppl keep on telling ppl that getting eyelid surgery is becoz u want to be more white. There is NOTHING to do with that! they just want to look better, whatever reason "better" means, but it has NOTHING to do with it! Ok, I dont speak for all ppl becoz there IS a small minority that truely want to be more "white" but the majority just wants to look better. and being automatically referred to as a white-wannabe is not nice.. It's also degrading to you Asians yourself who say it, thinking that Caucasians are "all that" and that everyone wants to be like them. It's not true. Plus, Indians have double-eyelid, too! So do Latinos, Africans... why Caucasians?? You ppl are making Asians seem more self-concious than they really are. Yeah, they may be, but so does everyone else. This is just shameful, degrading to the rest of the bunch. Everyone regardless of race, could go to get cosmetic surgery to look better (isn't that the only reason why anyone would do that?) and get no comments about "hey, shame on you, you wanna look more (name of race)!" So why criticizing fellow Asians about it? They got enough talking about the Double-Eyelid Craze that got blown out of porportion already!! (When 80% of Asians dont have 'em!!) Now that you got them all brain-washed and get an eyelid surgery, you're gonna criticize them about that, too?

Well, I've made my point clear. I'm open for arguement... hehe.. but keep it in minor key coz I get mad easily, i dont want to get mad from this. :P And don't say that "becoz you got eyelid surgery" coz I didn't. I have another point, that it's not necessarily a Caucasian feature!! Many other races have it, and even Asians!! it's funny to have my Asian friends think I'm hapa when I have these "caucasian" lids and dark brown hair when I'm purely Asian. O.O!!
Ok.. hehe. I've typed too muchos! & i've passed my point. :P Welp, got my topic clear'd! Pplz, got anything to say! ^o^

SOG,
What kind of eye does this eye exercise work on? My eyes are creaseless, so how much improvement would I actually see? Did it help you get a double eyelid or just open up your eyes a little? I was thinking of using some eye glue because I heard after a year or two you get a double eyelid but I'm afraid it'll look too unnatural in the process. I won't use the glue if these exercises really work. Thanks for the advice.

Hey Strawberry,
I'm considering getting my eyes and nose done (I hate my nose!!). Can you recommend a surgeon in Toronto (I live in Southern Ontario right now). I was thinking of Dr. Joseph Wong in Mississauga. Anyway, can you recommend me some good plastic surgeons in the Toronto area??
Good luck with your surgery!

Sog, the website that you left last time wasn't there anymore. I typed it in but it didn't bring me anywhere.
Are you serious that it works? I only have a month or two to try the exercises cause my surgery is in July. I'm not scared though...my sister and two cousins have done their noses and my sister-in laws' husband's uncle specializes in plastic surgery in California and has done two of his nieces' eyes and they looked great. I'm not getting it done by him though...i'm getting it done in Toronto, Canada my hometown. I'm living in Portland, Oregon right now with my husband.
I absolutely can't wait to have it done! No more wearing eyeliner anymore if i don't want to...my parents even said go for it if it makes you happy.
