I know this might be a little wierd since we're practically strangers but if you need any legal advice please let me know. I have a couple of family members that are lawyers that might be able to give you some kind of advice. Of course I'm sure the laws will vary depending on where you are but I'm sure they can help. After reading your post I complete sympathy for what your going through. It's even harder knowing that an AM did that to you. My advice would be to go see a doctor, lawyer, support councilor, parents, friends or anyone and get that bastard behind bars. I don't usually swear to much but your post really got the anger flowing.

I have to agree with Todd to an extent...
If you have had sex with him before...and you were still his girlfriend at the time...then I would suggest not to take this incident too far from this point on.
If it is any other situation...then..yeah...I would definitely feel that action needs to be taken...

You know what, I think every University has " Sexual Harrasment & Sexual assault Awareness Program". Go to Student Affair Department, Don't shy to ask about the program Liza. They could reffered you to other program center that close to your place.

Go seek help, They will help you with open hands. Its worth join the program, You won't regret it. Remember Liza you're not alone. And They will help you and protect you.

I know what you felt Liza, I felt the same way.

i'm very sorry to hear that something so heinous could happen to you or any woman in year 2002. what you have to know is that he raped you. if you acknowledge that, you are on your way to recovery. secondly, he has violated your rights not only as a woman but as a human being, therefore he must be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

denying what happened to you will not do any good at all. check with your local district attorney and check the statue of limitations for rape. rape cases are very hard to win because they come down to "he said, she said." i hope this helps. i wish you the best. god bless.

GO find "Sexual Harrasment assault awareness center" in your nearest community. If You found it, GO sign in and JOIN to the programs. The program will help you how to deal with your case. You gonna share the stories to other girls. Counseling will be there. Don't be affraid to join in to this program, They will protected you Liza.You will felt secured with them.

I'm also a member of this program. I almost got raped twice Liza. I'm scared too, but after I join in I felt secured even though sometimes in the inner side of my heart still shaking, nervous.

Please Liza find the program. Don't be scared of him Liza. He's not gonna kill you. When you join to the program, they will protect your rights. In the case of sexual harrasment & assault, women and children are always in the right side.
