WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
"San Francisco needs to stop spending 200 million a year on the homeless which in effect rises home costs through the roof! But of course high home costs does have it's benefits it keeps all the trashy people out. But we do need to do something to GET RID of all the homeless, send them perhaps to a city with very low home costs and get them a decent job! Simple solution.
The Bay needs to rid the homeless"
This is one of the most offensive, stupid and mean things I have ever read on this website. Homeless people are people too, they are starving and have no home, can't you have a tiny bit of sympathy? Or do you entirely lack humanity? As far as keeping the "trashy" people, who do YOU think you are to decide who's trashy or not? If you don't drive a Lexus and own a million dollar home then you qualify as "trashy"? And pray tell, what would you do to get rid of the homeless, I know an easy way- let's just kill them all! Quick, easy and cheap. Noone will miss them right?
You egocentric hating bastard.

How is this gaining respect? All it does is perpetrate old stereotypes about Asians being whiny little b*tches who have to cry to mommy every time they don't get their way.
When has that ever been a stereotype of asians? To the contrary, we have been known to just accept injustices and make the best out of situations.
There are a lot of shirts featuring black caricatures, albeit, created by black people themselves. However, I see more whites than blacks wearing it.
Exactly. On both points.

Asian-American History Educated,
People are tired of your pathetic rant about the differences between the Asians on the 2 coasts, and your constant bashing of Asians who live on the East Coast. Why do you find it appropriate to post the same damn opinions throughout the forums?
First of all, there are way more Asians on the West Coast. This leads to more hostility and racism towards Asians out there. However, the hostility has pretty much waned due to the strong efforts of Asian Activism and the increasing Asianization of California. Yet, many Asians out there always find some stupid reason to whine about anything that offends Asians, even if it is insignificant or minor.
In the East Coast, Asians are fewer in numbers and are more scattered. This leads to isolation, and a tendency for many of them to be individualistic, which sometimes offend "traditional minded" Asians who think of them as "sellouts".
Give some recent bias attacks on Asians in NYC???? I would like to know...and so does John Liu, who is our only AA politician in the city. Any bias attack in NYC is never acceptable and will be rectify! If such increase of bias attacks on Asians is true, I attribute it to 9-11, because Asians were the least afflicted, and the fact that Asians have made significant progress in this city, many have attained middle class, while other immigrants have not...(which contradicts your idea that NYC or East Coast Asians have not made any inroads)
You wish you were out here in the west coast.
Not really, I don't like the Asian culture in the West Coast. There are way too many Asians out there and too many afflicted with the "Asian Justice Syndrome". I could associate with them for a short period of time but after awhile, it gets to me, they're boring as hell!
Actually, no, because it wasn't us asians that appropriated the styles of Banana. On the other hand, Asian-ness did not become trendy until white people made it so. keep laughing, the foolish one is you. =)
Btw, I love your little grin =(..my point was that why should Asians get upset when Whites appreciate things that pertain to "Asian-ness". Many Asians want to become White or appreciate things that are western, do you see the same kind of resentment from White ppl as with Asians???? I think not.
