WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
"Environmental funds - the world froze over 7 or 8 times before and after human treaded on it. No amount of money in the world can alter environmental changes. Those environmentalist got it all wrong. They basically think complex environments should not change, which is impossible."
Well, I'm talking about the garbage and nuclear waste dumps, salmon spawning grounds, oil spill clean ups, and all that kind of stuff. I'm surely not one of those treehuggers camping out in the branches for 3 years. There isn't much we can do about the ozone either. Those people are wasting their time. One blast from Tambora released more pollutants into the air than all manmade chemicals ever created.
"Alma Maters - That's good. It will perpetuate future people who will think like you. Philosophical Darwinism."
I think the schools shape who we are from the get go. I wouldn't be altering what the school currently does to begin with, just continuing on with the legacy. I hope you are not trying to mock me by saying future people being like me is a bad thing. =P
"Animal shelters - they're not even human. We eat them or use them. The rest should die like...like...hmmm... animals."
Hehe... well, I don't eat dogs. Do you? Actually, I wouldn't just give to the shelters, but to nonprofit animal research places like zoos and marine biology centers. BTW, anyone hear about the animal WWF winning the lawsuit over the wrestling WWF over the name? Now, the wrestling one is just called WW or WWE (E for entertainment). However, they got the last laugh, because their new slogan is "Get the F out!" hahahaha
"Homeless - You should not donate to them directly that will allow them to perpetuate their sloth nature. You should donate to causes that might re-train them or make them more acceptable members of society."
Put it this way. If you were the CEO of a company, would you hire any one of those homeless guys to work for you? That would help reform them, wouldn't it?

AC Dropout, you are so incredibly arrogant. Don't animals deserve to be treated with some respect, and not used in painful tests, or killed and thrown out like garbage? And donating to a college may help a poor kid that otherwise couldn't afford college be able to attend. As for the homeless, they aren't "slothful", they have to beg all day and life is a matter of daily survival. You're just as bad as TSJ.

TSJ,
"I would donate too, but definitely not to the homeless. I would give to environmental funds and animal shelters, and also to my alma maters."

LSD,
You must have dropped one too many tabs. You're basing quality of the city on homeless people.
What's next 'Best cities in USA based on mortality rate of convicts?'

"So you are WRONG! Just from reading your posts I can tell that you are an arrogant, rich, pompous ass who believes in Social Darwinism."
No, I am not rich or arrogant. I'm just a young college grad trying to work my way up in society. If I had money in excess of what I needed to live comfortably, I would donate too, but definitely not to the homeless. I would give to environmental funds and animal shelters, and also to my alma maters.
