WHAT YOU SAY

"that you are a snobby bastard who has an opinion on every single freaking subject on this site, and it's a bit tiresome"

Haha... no need for the name calling. Anyways, what kind of journalist/broadcaster would I be if I didn't have an opinion? Besides, no one put a gun to your head. This is a free site. If you don't like it, don't read it!

penelope,

I don't believe thoughts/concepts occupy rungs or are graded. They just exist. Hence, even though there are conflicting thoughts. You never know when they will become useful.

DD,

It not that I don't think abandoned animal should not be helped. I actually given this topic much thought.

First off, we get to do whatever we want with animals. Make them pets, Make them dinner, and abandon them.

Now once they are abondoned. Should these animals live in a shelter for a short time before being put to death.

Or should they have an opportunity to run wild. My opinion let them run wild until they are caught and put into a shelter and put to sleep.

"I'd hate to be mean, but I think AC Dropout's point is best taken by looking at which college you go to. Doesn't it say something that you weren't accepted by the other schools? Doesn't your current status in life say something to you? Or would you just like to accept and keep working hard because that is how you think everyone else got there?

Why in the world would you buy into philosophical darwinism if you're not even on the higher rungs? It's kinda like the bourgeouis pretending that they are rich. Again, what makes people do this instead of speaking out against the unjust system?"

Penelope, you know stuff about me these others don't know, so it's not fair that you use it against me! hehe Anyways, okay, I didn't go to one of those super prestigious private universities, but I still appreciate what my school has done for me. Most of the buildings there are named after alumni philantropists or corporations, so outside contributions are a major part of the everyday operation. I also went to a private Catholic HS, so I would probably donate to them before my college. In fact, I already do. My checks have probably paid for a football helmet or two. haha

Well, I don't really buy into any system. I'm like one of those guys who just lives my life day by day, not worrying about what will happen the next. If you don't do anything foolish today, nothing will come back to get you tomorrow. Like they say, just "go with the flow." I do whatever feels right. To be honest with you, I don't even know what "Political Darwinism" is. I know what "Darwinism" is, with the evolution of animals, as researched on the Galapagos Islands. I definitely believe in that.

"I use to know a few homeless people when I was in HS. They would brag about their slothful nature. They commited one of the 7 deadly sins. Or was it the 7 deadly venoms?"

Hahaha... AC, that's a good one. Se7en is one of my favorite flicks of all time. Wait a minute... aren't there only 5 Deadly Venoms?

"Not yet. I've only crossed off Buffalo, Alligator, shark, jellyfish and snakes from my exotic animal list. Whales, bears, and fugu fish are probably next to be consumed."

Bear?! Where can you eat that? You will be locked up for years if you even attempt to do slight bodily harm to a bear in CA. Yeah, I've heard buffalo is big in NYC. I think I've tried alligator when I was in Florida. Shark is common, especially at Chinese weddings and other celebrations (shark fin soup). You can actually catch some small sharks in the Bay, right under the San Mateo Bridge. Jellyfish is pretty common too. Whale (beluga), I have tried. It's nasty! Ostrich and Emu are pretty popular here. There are farms all over the place.

"If a homeless guy submited a proper resume to my company, and sucessfully went through the rounds of interviews at my company, I wouldn't see why I wouldn't hire him."

Do you think that is possible though? First of all, he wouldn't have the proper attire. Cleanliness would also be an issue. I guess timeliness wouldn't be a problem, since he could just literally camp out on the company doorsteps every night.

"As bad as TSJ? We have similar thoughts on certain topics. I think he's pretty together. Thanks for the compliment."

Hey, it's a honor to be put amongst the elite ranks with you. You are the man around these parts. (Or it could be that we are just two complete losers who have nothing better to do than to post on the internet all day.)

Animal - do not deserve to stand on the same footing as human. Old Testiment Genesis 1:26

AC Dropout, I didn't know you were such a religious freak. I am a proud atheist, the bible is nothing but a bunch of mysogynist crap written in the medieval ages. Only those who can't think for themselves need a god to look up to.

Animals may not have a soul like humans do, but they are living creatures that feel pain as well. I do not believe that we as humans have the right to play God to animals and nature. It's cruel and wrong.

It's up to each person how or if they donate money, I'm not going to sit here and say people should give to this or that. That's your decision. All I'm saying is that compassion for animals and the earth as well as other people is a noble thing, and that you are a snobby bastard who has an opinion on every single freaking subject on this site, and it's a bit tiresome.
