WHAT YOU SAY

"For all practical purposes we live in a world which is flat. We think in Euclidean geometry terms, we organize space as if the world is flat.

The only time we even think the world is round. Is when we travel or deal with objects in a global dimension. Then the world operated in a non-Euclidean plane, and we must take into account the curvature of the earth and it's spherical nature."

Man, this is deep. It's so true. When we drive across the country, we don't realize how much of the curvature we have maneuvered over. The whole time it seems like we are on a flat surface. I guess you can figure out the curvature of the earth by looking at bridges. The GG Bridge has a noticeable arch to adhere to the contour of the surface. Other than that, there is no way for the naked eye to tell.

I don't think people pick on AC Dropout at all. I think it's the other way around. My grammer and spelling suck too.

animal lover,

"..get YOUR pet neutered or spayed!"

OMG, how can you be a animal lover if you promote the mutilation of another living being.

Toi San Jai,

"Or like some girl..."

Oh, that's cold...^_^

TSJ, yes I have gotten bored with reading yours and AC's posts and am moving on. I have better things to do than think up a witty comeback to a stranger on cyberspace or read one more obnoxious arrogant male post.

"Well I'm glad I didn't deter you from having an opinion on other people's opinions."

Man, you are too sharp. I only aspire to be as witty as you someday.

"We could be legends in our own minds for all we know. Goldsea could be like a video game, one day we get bored and move on."

Or like some girl...

Okay people, the obvious answer to the abandoned pet issue is to get YOUR pet neutered or spayed!

me,

"Cats and dogs run wild in the streets and mate and have 10 puppies/kittens"

But they had a chance to run and mate. What's that old saying?

Better to have lusted and lost, than to have never lusted at all.

"Exactly what is this in response to?"

It was in response to your comment about my comment to TSJ about donating to his Alma Mater. I state the the perpetuation of one's idea are good for the sake of self interest.

Because ideas are all valid. Of course the context has to be correct to support the idea.

Like here two ideas that are perfectly valid:
1) The World is Flat
2) The World is Round

For all practical purposes we live in a world which is flat. We think in Euclidean geometry terms, we organize space as if the world is flat.

The only time we even think the world is round. Is when we travel or deal with objects in a global dimension. Then the world operated in a non-Euclidean plane, and we must take into account the curvature of the earth and it's spherical nature.

"while i have you attention, may i ask what this board has against you?"

I really have no idea. I shower everyday and have great personal hygene. Must be my constant spelling and grammatical errors. Some people are just so critical of the details.

"people insulting you or finding out more about you. what's up with that?"

Don't know either. In real life people just pass me by without a second glance. Must be my constant spelling and grammatical errors again. Once I improve the quality of my prose I'm sure people will stop picking on me.

But thank you for your concern.
