WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
MLK, AC,
I REALLY think that you guys should meet up and just have a few drinks. What could go wrong? At worst, you could just be good buddies. You live in CA, and he lives in NYC (if I remember correctly from your previous posts). Maybe you could totally visit each other if you ever happen to be on each others' Coasts.
It's all good guys....

No, you don't understand. I have a pretty fair level of reading comprehension, and I've taught plenty of (younger as well as adult) ESL students to recognize certain patterns in their written prose (mixing of prepositions, spelling, tense-misusage, dropping of articles, etc.).
I know one thing. If you've been here at a young age (4), you would have perfect English (and one of you actually do!), slang and all (just like me!). But what I am also seeing is English written by a very intelligent person who came to the US after his cognitive formative years--after even his pre-adolescent years.
I dare say, (this other AC) you weren't even exposed to the US culture until well into your late teens, or even early twenties...which makes (one of you) older than your self-espoused 28 years. You have to be at least in your late 30s to mid 40s (or even older than that!) to be able to have that much relevant life experiences. What do you have to say to that, Mr. I'm so cool my head's shaped like an AC ?
;)

MLK,
Yes that is the best secret of asian men we are bilingual and don't proof read our post.
This way we can already fall back on the excuse "You know English/Chinese is not my 1st language" whenever we make mistakes. ^_^

"the best kept secrets of asian men is soap...hiding it in their pocket"
Why don't you grow up. Your probably the one that doesn't use soap. I think its probably your best kept secret. Perhaps thats why you got dumped in the first place.

"I think asians are very promiscuous"
Who cares what you THINK. This world does not revolve around your ways of thinking you idiot.

I could have sworn that you think better (even on abstract matters) in Chinese than in English. I guess I was wrong. My bad. Sorry 'bout that, I guess you're just gonna have to dig around in good ole USA for your 'abstract thought' woman.
Somehow, it seems to me that you are even more Americanized than I am, and that's tough to do, seeing I was raised here from a very tiny tot. Very strange indeed.
And also, I've noticed a very odd thing. Sometimes, your English is PERFECT and sometimes, it's very flawed. And sometimes, your ideas seem to come from a very young man and sometimes, from a much older, more mature person. I think it's this attribute that makes me curious about you (or you(s)...more than one person named AC that I've been communicating with here?). What's up with that? Is there something wrong with my perception here?

MLK,
"Plenty of men have gone back to the motherland to take wives."
Realistically it would depend how bilingual that individual was to actually want to take a wife from the homeland. If one is unable to express their most abstract thoughts effectively, then it becomes kind of strain on the relationship.
Those that are bilingual enough to take wives from the homeland are probably not confortable expressive abstract thoughts in English and would probably not be interested in someone who is too Americanized.

XYZ
Incorrect on all points.
See what a wickedly stupid thing it is to try to convey your opinion of me as a point of fact? Stick to expressing only your own personal knowledge - none of which involves me. Otherwise you will appear rather juvenile and I can almost see you with your lower lip protruding as you stomp your foot and say "Poo is this! Poo is that!". Wishing don't make it so - just makes you a candidate for The Disney Channel where fairytales are real!!
