I have a major crush on an asian man. He calls himslef AC Dropout. His messages are always very informative and inspiring. I bet he looks incredibly gorgeous. I just have that feeling about him.

"...I have a major crush on AC"
Do you really...bon apetite!
I tend to want to do the same thing to him myself. Only it's very hard to crush the guy. He seems to bounce back after every crushing blow, cackling and dancing about like a madman. :)
...and on top of that, I'm also dealing with a split personality! Talk about the Devil, he's looking at this post right now, grinning from ear to ear and wondering how he can poke at it for some laughs.

AC (the both of you!)
The post on Monday, July 29, 2002 at 06:39:17--This is the real AC. I can bet my lunch money on it (all twelve bucks!). From what I know of the real AC, as a CEO & founder of a company, having to run back and forth from US to China to Taiwan to run a corporation, you must be extremely well-versed in Chinese, both Mandarine and Cantonese (and probably other dialects as well), which would make your English...not as fluent as would be the case if you only knew Chinese. Not only that, you will have to have an incredible amount of stored knowledge about current and past events, as well as world events in general, and a working knowledge of business operations and politics, both USA and abroad. In any case, the AC who holds up his own in the politics forum has the same 'impressionistic' writing style, and this is the genuine article from the genuine AC.
The other AC, the younger, more playful 28 year old guy, has a much better command of English. He also gets himself into some pickles that the original AC has to keep pulling him out of. In fact, on most of the dating and social boards, I've been talking mostly to the 2nd AC (after months of talking to him, I can recognize his playful banter even if he doesn't sign his name to the post). I'm not going to say he's the fake AC because there is a collaborative effort here. You two know each other, and assist in each other's efforts when the other is busy, out of the country, away at meetings, etc.
I had thought about this a long time ago, but never mentioned it because...well, I really didn't care too much who you were. As long as you had fun and it didn't bother anybody, who cared. But I thought I might clear up this thing before I leave here or else this puzzling mystery will bug me to no end and I will always wonder.
Now, tell me I'm a blonde bimbo who is completely clueless and needs to reevaluate my analysis of your writing styles, your manner of speech, and your combined relevant life experiences. Or tell me to go dye my hair back to its original color, a very deep sable brown.
"...the problem of being a minority growing up in a self sustaining minority neighborhood"
You are right about that. Why didn't you bring it up in the Gender Divide forum where it first came up with T H Lien? I don't pretend to have all the answers, and you could have jumped in anytime you wanted to, and I would have been so happy to hear your opinion...and here's where your life experiences come in to play, which makes me question your self-professed age.

MLK,
That's the problem of being a minority growing up in a self sustaining minority neighborhood.
One does not touch on all aspects of American culture. So some aspect of mainstream are totally foreign. While other aspects are totally fluent. Try getting a yogurt whiskey shots at a western bar.
That is why some asian men. Even though considered to be completely Americanized feel out of place when not close to an Asian community.
Which experiences do I have which makes me seem older than I am?
Would it be more relevant to ask which experience do others lack that reflect they have not live life to the fullest yet?
But I am not in a position on how others wish to ultilize their short amount time on this planet.
