Yeah exactly! But now Asian male are less 'asexual' in white media that they were before but Asian women are more paired with the white male. The latter REALLY PISSES ME OFF!!!!!!

Don't worry, Asian male's facial features will become more & more accepted thanks to Apolo Anton Ohno.
I think he looks more Asian/Latin/Hawaiian than White compared to myself and quite a few other hapas I've known (not to mention he's one of the tanner Japanese hapas I've seen).
So he can represent Asian males a bit more than our other good-looking hapa brothas. I saw him on the Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno just now. Girls are totally nuts for him. He's like the new Tom Cruise, Bradd Pitt, or N'Sync of Professional Sports.

my mother told me once, that middle aged japanese men were of short stature because they were concieved and raised during wartime and suffered from malnutrition as children. taking that into consideration, i concider this stereotype to be very harsh.

Most other races women told me it is not the physique nor the presumed sexless character of Asian men that turns them off, but it's just that our society has not yet been able to see the Asian male facial features as something attractive. The paradox of it is that Asian women's face are considered beautiful while the men's are not. What's up with that?

In many ways the exoticism has faded from the Asian American woman and has been transferred to women in countries such as Thailand and other Southeast asian countries. The Asian American has assimiliated but the Asian culture still remains something foreign.

It's terrible that Anglo movies/television perpetuate the stereotype that EVERY Asian women wants, is atrracted to, and can only be sexually satisfied by a white man. Anglo media excludes the Asian male from any perception of virility, sexuality, sensuality, attractivesness, desirability, etc. They've done the same thing with Black, Latino and Middle eastern men, too, but not to the extent that they've done it to Asians. If you dispute this, look at your average action, thriller or drama in America, Australia or Europe. Our 'hero' will inveritablly be a white man who's smarter, faster, better-looking, tougher, etc, than any other race of male(s) in the flick. When the female lead isn't a white woman, she's practically salivating over the hero, and of course, he'll have her by hte end of the show. This is ususlly done at the expense of men of her own race, but they're expendable because they're not white.
