You know something on New York City local news bother me last night.

It was on channel 11 WPIX did a story on the Korean Community here in the City on how Dog meat dishese are available. It was very negative in my opinion. They even went upstate to find the farm where the dogs are being raised and slaughtered.

It is not illegal to kill or cook or eat dog meat in the state of New York. It is in 6 states in the USA.

The center piece of the story was that the reporter wanted to make it illegal in this state.

Personally, I never eaten dog meat. But I'm sure it probably does not taste too bad.

I'm just a little peeved that because throughout the story they kept saying "Americans find it appalling to eat dogs or anything that resembles a dog"

Why did not the reportor go into a high class French restuarant in the city and do a story on the atrocity that they are serving snails, deers, frogs, goats and rabbits?

Not being a religous person...but in the Book of Genesis, did not God tell us we were the master of these creatures and that we can do whatever we want with them.

I think white America can be so narrow minded sometimes.

Thanks for the compliment. You made a great comment about turning the other cheek and getting slapped, slapped, and slapped some more. That is absolutely correct: I know from personal experience way back when I was a kid in grade school that unless you fight back, you're ALWAYS going to be despised. The same applies to adults.

I always like to pay back...with interest. Sure, it's called 'stooping to their level', but when others are that ignorant and stupid you can only stoop to their level: sadly, that's the only way their low minds respond. Just like Pavlov's dog.

i know why there is a hatred between Jews and Chineses. it's because the Chineses are slowly invading the media which is main territory of the Jews ( the scrappy movie " crouching tiger, hidden dragon" won 4 Oscars, few years ago, the show " Martial law" won a Emmy for the best new show, the get canceled right after that ), so the Jews fight back , somtimes they fight dirty ( using racial slur)

Once again, "Titus" has the Asian fetishist character Dave, played by Zack Ward, making rude remarks. On last night's episode he said to Erin:

"My dream girl would have your body, but an Asian head! Hee Hee!"

That little turd is the same turd who played Scut Farkison in the movie "A Christmas Story." Some Asian brothers and folks who are sick of his CRAP who live in So-Cal need to find him on the street somewhere, drag his ASS into an alley and kick the SNOT outta him!!!

Your comments are so asinine, I'm not really sure they deserve a reply. But I believe there is hope for everyone--even poorly educated idiots like yourself.

So let's take it real s-l-o-w, one step at a time. Step one: sure, they make jokes about whites and blacks on TV. But you have to realise, babycakes, that presentation of blacks and especially whites is more two-sided than that for Asians. For instance, not all white women are portrayed as blond bimbos. Not all black men are portrayed as gangsters. As opposed to Asian women who are portrayed as week and submissive or Asian men who are portrayed as geeks. Got that?

Step two. I'm not really sure you don't see any blacks or whites complaining about racist and sexist jokes. Remember Andrew Dice Clay? Remember the outrage over his racist and sexist jokes? And BTW, let me ask you, how many times do you hear the word 'nigger' on TV? Or 'kike'? Or 'Polak'?

Guess you haven't been using your eyes, ears, or worse yet, brains long enough to notice anything.

After reading some of the pent-up anger of your writers, I'm afraid that there will always be racism, whether we're white, black, Asian, or Hispanic.

Since my family and I moved to Florida from Iowa by the way of Nebraska, my husband has noticed even the difference in attitude between blacks in three different neighborhoods we lived in. One group feels that since their ancestors were slaves the world owes them a living. The group who are our neighbors now are more down to earth.

When my parents and my older sister and I moved from Canada to Illinois it looked like we couldn't make it because we are Chinese and the government said the quota from China was filled. My dad's bosses went to bat for us by (correctly) pointing out we're coming from CANADA, not CHINA.

One thing that I found troubling at the last neighborhood we were in my daughters had no one to play with. They were not white, black, or Hispanic. And two of the three are mentally challenged.

I am of the philosophy that you need to start with educating people on who you are and pass out hugs instead of fists and insults.

Maybe I'm unrealistic, but we need to start somewhere to mend fences and be accepted.

Any one else wants to debate the points?

What the hell's wrong with you chinks?! So what if they make Asian jokes on TV? They're always making jokes about whites and blacks on TV you don't see any black or white complaining. Guess you haven't been in a free country long enough to know you could just ignore it and change the channel.
