"We all also know how anti-minority Fox is, being as it is, the only network that gives any kind of major exposure to black talent."
Don't forget about WB and UPN. They have Moesha, The Steve Harvey Show, etc.

Has anyone seen the Jackie Chan's infomercial on TV on CableFlex fitness machine? What do you think of that? He was paired with a hot blond girl.

While I was "sitting" in the bathroom with my TV on in the living room, I heard this from my TV (I think it was an NBC news magazine about Hispanics on the media):
Hispanics, despite being the largest minority, are way under-represented on TV with only 2% of all casts.
Blacks are way over-represented with 17%.
Asians have 3%.
So I think Asians are not doing bad at all considering we are only 3% of the population. But that doesn't mean we can stop trying to get more Asians on TV. Also, I heard from the show that Hispanics, too, face a lot of stereotypes when it comes on the media. The feel that they are always potrayed as gardeners, blue-collar workers, etc. The moral is: We are not alone!

The fact that the vote is quite evenly divided for friendliest/least Asian-Friendly network speaks for this fact: they are all unfriendly!

Dan:
"Jewish owned?" "Channels?" Did you mean networks? There's a difference.
But what does that mean, exactly?
I do know what it seems to imply, and it stinks.
And no I'm not. Though I've been married both to an Asian and also to a Jew.
By the way, CBS is owned by Viacom -- hardly a tool of Israel or the imaginary Elders of Zion. Viacom also owns MTV. Interesting sidenote: Former Viacom CEO Sumner Redstone (yes, it was changed from Rothstein by his grandfather) is fluent in Japanese.
NBC is owned by General Electric, CEO is Jeffrey Immelt, a major league WASP. But maybe you've got some GE appliances in your home that were planted there by "Jews." Better check it out.
ABC, of course, is owned by Disney and we all know how hard Michael Eisner worked to kill "Mulan."
Fox as you know is owned by Australian Rupert Murdoch. We all also know how anti-minority Fox is, being as it is, the only network that gives any kind of major exposure to black talent.
Isn't it a bitch when facts get in the way of racist stereotypes?

"Come on...we need to be more in tuned with something as large as this and quit arguing about Kristin Kruek. She barely looks Asian."
Does that make her any less Asian? I'm 100% Chinese, and I don't look like it, so all of a sudden I'm not Chinese anymore?
