Asian males are not and never were a threat to me. (Even though I'm not an Asian). Maybe when I was younger, I thought Asians and whites would eventually gang up on me and kill me because they saw ME as a threat. I'm new to this forum, but I'm not new to the "yellow peril" term. I've heard it many times but it was never regurgitated in MY community. If Asian people want to be friends with whites for whatever reason and dislike me for BS reasons (be they substansial or utterly ridiculous) that's their choice. I'm not missing out on much. But if Asians accept me as a friend, they have a friend for life. I used to care about it, but now I don't have to anymore. Fighting ignorance is like trying to cut the arms of an octopus one by one. It's wiser to attack the head! CAN U DIG IT, Asian brotha?

Hey Commander:

If you really believe what you'd posted here, why are you on this forum in the first place? You know I wouldnt say never. I'd say many Asian men are already on the same par or higher in many or all of the categories you're comparing Whites to Asian men. Yeah, I guess as a group, we're a bit behind in the romance department, but that's only cause women have been fed negative perceptions of us for decades. That's already changing.

In any case, I wouldnt generalize Asian men to White men myself. Whether one attains wealth or women is more aligned to the individual characteristics. Also who really cares anyways.

My 2 cents.

By the way Commander. I bet you're a LOSER! Big Time for you to post something like that. Probably even Asian women DISS you!!!

I am not a racist, but you obviously don't see that times and trends are changing. If you visit large metropolitan cities, you will see increasingly more and more Asian guys with white girls and other non-Asian females. I am an Asian man and I don't like to compete with others, I am just having my share of the fun.

The fact is and the fact remains: Asian men can never compete with white men. Asian men will never reach white men's level of wealth, power, intellect or position. I won't even comment on the romance department because that would be a huge joke.

It gets tiresome that every time a fool show up on these forums it MUST be a black man. FYI on Nice White, are you a white racist, trying to cause more division, who see black men as a threat to white men, or are you a banana trying to cause friction between Black and Asians in general?

In other words before you make such accusations, show some proof or keep it to yourself. That's what I was taught, before you point your finger you better have something to back it up. Otherwise....you and Nice White are putting me to sleep.

Part 3 - Genghis Khan Rides Again

At the same time, the tides of the megatrends cannot be stopped. Change is coming whether you like it or not. Asians and Asian Americans will both become more powerful in the decade ahead. Those who maintain connections with their Asian roots will profit from the global shift; those who disdain all things Asian will languish along with whites who cannot get with the program. When this comes to pass, you'd better believe I'll be riding high on the crest of the wave and having the time of my life trampling all over erstwhile white-worshipping sellouts.

It is all about the time-honored exchange of money and power on the male side, versus beauty and sex appeal on the female side. As of right now, it is still the whites who possess the lion's share of the world's wealth and the power, hence the current interracial dating / marriage disparity.

It would be a grave mistake to assume that the above will remain static indefinitely. Everything changes, and the rapid rate of change is the distinguishing feature of modern life. One of the things we can already tell is that, in a decade or so, whatever success Japanese businessmen may have had with American girls in the past will be duplicated again on a much bigger scale. In this manner, the economic Asian male threat will inevitably translate to a sexual threat, as well.

It will be as if Genghis Khan conquers America in the 21st century. As was the case in his conquest of Europe, white females will find themselves consorting with Mongolian warriors - or in this case the Asian Nouveau Riche.

It's the Yellow Peril of the New Millenium, baby. Better get used to it.

Part 2 - White Reaction

As the years wear on, more and more evidences accumulate, pointing out to whites the idea that Asians are not only worthy opponents, but may very well prove to be substantially better in every significant aspect of global competition.

The effect of this unease in the heart of whites leads to a number of counteractive delusions. For instance, the Japanese succeed only because they are drone-like worker bees who have no life (see the movie Gung Ho). Another example is the inner conviction that whites possess something special, perhaps "adaptability" or some other X factor, that will allow them to triumph against overwhelming odds, and against enemies who are stronger and smarter (see Flash Gordon, Star Trek and countless other stylized depictions of inevitable white victory).

On a more personal level, such delusions manifest as the constant denial of the tremendous Asian potential, the frequent emasculation of Asian men in the media, or the persistent myth of the small Asian penis.

Note that European whites simply do not have the same obsessive delusions that Americans have, as above. This is true because Europe has already ceded global dominance to America, and is no longer a contender. There is anti-Asian backlash in the collective subconscious of America precisely because Asia is next in line for global dominance, and coming on strong every day. Quite naturally, mainstream white Americans are loath to let go of their coveted top position. Hence the defensive posture against the AM threat.

The superiority delusions outlined above are at the heart of white discomfort in the face of capable Asians in a corporate setting, particularly Asian males. It gets more and more difficult every day to apply whatever fundamental superiority a white man may feel toward the new generation of Asian American men, who are not only technically competent, but may also be outspoken, eloquent and charismatic. Thus, artificial barriers are erected. Bureaucratic roadblocks are put into place. The Asian man should know his place, and that is in engineering and the sciences, not management or leadership.

As long as the above remains true - and we expect it to be true for another decade or so - Asian representation in the upper echelon of corporate America will always be low. No matter how American you really are, white Americans will still perceive you to be in a different category. It would be unrealistic for us to expect that this factor will not play a role when it comes to executive promotions in a white-dominated organization.

Part 1 - Global Competition

How do Asian males pose a threat against white males? What makes white males so defensive about this whole issue? Assuming Nice White is genuine, what deep seated insecurity would compel a white guy to expend the effort to visit an Asian American web site and post a strong denial that he fears the Yellow Peril?

From a larger, global perspective, a white male certainly does not view the black man as a credible threat. He only needs to look at Africa or perhaps Haiti to satisfy himself that blacks will never, ever be able to compete against whites on the international stage. Not in a million years - such is the smug assurance of a white male in the deepest recess of his mind. Individual black success does not translate to the macroscopic, group level. In terms of building and maintaining civilization, and holding positions of power in established society, whites do not consider blacks to be in the same league as they are.

It is a bit disturbing, then, that such thoughts cannot readily be applied to Asians. One cannot easily forget, for instance, that America suffered defeat in Vietnam - a demoralizing and traumatic blow.

It doesn't matter what strained rationalization one comes up with (our troops were not allowed to win; they had an impossible task; and other excuses) or what fantasies the society cooks up to assuage its collective ego (such as Missing in Action starring Chuck Norris - a macroscopic Hollywood version of the revenge fantasy little boys entertain after getting beaten up). The fact stands that the Great White Hunter lost out to little subhuman jungle gooks.

Whites, both American and European, also suffered ignominious economic defeat at the hands of the Japanese. In every arena of competition, from heavy industries to electronics to automobiles, the Japanese found it fairly easy to demolish their white competitors. Suddenly white corporate executives found themselves studying Japanese management techniques and blonde prostitutes found themselves propositioning Japanese businessmen. It doesn't matter that the Japanese economic bubble has burst or that the Japanese economy is now in recession. The fact stands that they have beaten whites before and can do so again. Asian countries have achieved economic dominance over whites in certain areas - however fleeting - that no black nation can ever come close to achieving.

Today, China is ascendant. Her economy is going great guns as she leapfrogs Western nations in one area after another. She is already the world's largest market of wireless technology (cellular phones) and a widely quoted study asserts that by 2007, Chinese will be the dominant language of the Internet (meaning there will be more Chinese sites than English sites). Symbolic of this upward surge, Chinese gymnasts have consistently outclassed their white counterparts for the last decade, not only in world championship competition, but in the Olympics as well.

If most Americans do not see Asians as a threat, why do you hear them telling us to stop stealing all the jobs? Just answer that question for a second. And why do you hear all the white, black, and hispanic women putting down Asian women just because their men want us? And why do blacks think that we owe them something for our success just because they fought for civil rights? I am not saying that every single black, white, or hispanic person think this way but many, many do. Most feel we are a threat because they hate the fact that we are doing well and so called taking from them. Like it or not, that's the truth.

I own my own contracting business. My subcontractors are white guys.

If white guys don't feel Asian guys are a threat, why even bother to come to an Asian site to bash Asian men? Their insecurity is showing.

I like to hit on white girls when the oppurtunity presents itself. I always make out with them at the parties that I go to (which happen to be predominanatly white) and white guys always seem a bit unnerved by it.
