What about Pat Morita in his Karate Kid movies? As a kid, I did not like my non-Asian classmates calling me "Miyagi" or if I know how to fight like a grasshopper. I don't know your ethnicity or race, but the term Chinaman is offensive. I don't know how the editors can allow such a derogatory term to go on the board??? If you had studied Asian-American history, Chinese more than any other Asian group in the U.S. challenged all the racist laws imposed upon Asians one case after the other; oftentimes taking it to the Supreme Court for final hearings. When other Southeast Asians are victims of hate crimes, Chinese-American organizations are often there to lend a helping hand. What do you know? Nothing, so shut up!!!

I think that unlike a lot of the readers of Goldsea, many Asian males just don't stand up enough for our rights, don't speak up loud enough when one of our brothers gets kicked around, in the media or elsewhere. Only Chinese will put up with this Fu Manchu bullshit, and only a Chinese actor (e.g., Jackie Chan) will choose to star in a movie (Rush Hour 2) that makes AW look like whores and where AM are portrayed as stereotypical Chinamen with small dick jokes and all! I think WM don't really feel the same kind of threat that they feel with BM, but rather they feel a sense of disdain. WM tend to enjoy picking on what they can, whether it be hunting cute little deer, beating up a Chinaman, or stepping on whoever or whatever else is down. That's just the way they are, and a lot of AM unfortunately accept and thus perpetuate this image.

Why should I care if I work with Asians? We're working for the same goal... to make money. Whoever is better at his or her job should do well for himself or herself. If I am better at my job, then I should do well for myself. And the company should benefit from the competition among its employees regardless of race. I.e., we shouldn't care how many Asians or whatever race works with us absent a racist reason.
