I am half asian/white doing business in Japan. From my experience, asian people are very hypocritical, egocentrical etc just trying to justify themselves. Asians try to picture white people as arrogant and barbaric, but they forget the fact that Genghis Khan invaded and raped the women in Europe leading to the creation of many new minorities. Genghis Khan is still their hero but he was much worse than Hitler. Asians don't like people who have a western appearance. You asians are just forgetting the history.

Karen Narasaki hasn't been to Sugar Land or Katy in West Houston. Most Whites as well as South and East Asians live in those upper middle class to upper class suburbs peacefully and don't move out when wealthy Asians move in. You must be citing some backwards place like Jackson Mississippi or Denver Colorado.

In an anti-immigrant meeting of the House Immigration Reform Caucus led by that bigot from Colorado, Tom Tancredo. No, it was not reported in the papers.

The newspapers already know. There was an article on this back in early November.

Bigots would be always bigot. Karen Narasaki of the Asian-Pacific Legal Foundation says that the whites still move out of the community even when rich Asians move in. Do you have any idea about reducing the level of xenophobia and bigotry among the members of the House Immigration Reform Caucus.

When did Virgil Goode and Jo Ann Davis say all those things about Northern Virginians? Never heard about it in the papers. But is there a way we can let those people know how much they depend on N. VA and "foreign" workers for the VA economy? How do we get this news in the papers? I know you mean well, but what bothers me about feeling as if you're competing with a group of different ethnicity, creates a notion of an "us" and a "them". Meaning, if more of them have better jobs, women, etc, then the us are losing the competition, albeit healthy.
Taken another way, and I think you meant it this way, AM offer more competition in the American pool of various ethnic backgrounds, whether Middle Eastern, Chinese, Irish, Pygmy, etc. Therefore, the American standard is increased.

I personally don't consider AMs a threat, but rather to be good friends and to be healthy competition. That way, we all get better as Americans as a whole--competition is good.

True. Particularly here in Virginia where whites in Southern Virginia are subsidized by the immigrants (50%) and hard working professional whites (50%) of northern virginia. After receiving the subsidy from us "foreigners", the US Reps from Southern Virginia, Jo Ann Davis (R-1st Dist) and Virgil Goode (I-5th Dist) tell us that we are not real Americans and Northern Virginia does not look like "America" anymore and that we should all pack up and go home. If it were the other way round there would be a hell to pay. Since there is not much of a ripple, I agree that it is at least here in Virginia, a white man's country.

However, I am not sure about California. They did kick some ass there after Pete Wilson's anti-immigrant tirade making the GOP an almost extinct species. Arizona and New Mexico could go that way by 2002 elections. As far as Texas and Florida are concerned, the jury is still out as to whether it is a white man's, or for that matter it is a white woman's country. But, I have to concede that white females in both Texas and here in Virginia act like they are God's gift to the world. They did in California, but before 1996. Since then many abandoned the beaches for mountains (Rocky Mountain States)
