If a woman is pregnant, is she considered to be fat? Is she still considered to be attractive by her husband? I mean, before I got pregnant I was a size 4. Now I have gained alot more in my belly. My arms and legs are still small. My breasts got bigger which was really cool, but then my belly got bigger than them. I catch my husband looking at pictures of girls that are smaller than a size 4. Does that mean he's not attracted to me anymore? Does it mean that he wants someone thats smaller than me? What does it mean?

to UGH!!!

Jeez, man, give her a break. She's not hurting anyone with a harmless question like that. You, on the other hand, are hurting her by slamming her. What has she done to you to deserve that?

Maybe I should create a website with a bunch of pics on there and then post it so she won't be the only one who has the guts to show her face around here.

Go easy on her, why don'tcha.

Litto Asian Tiger,

"If you are 5'3-5'4 (average female height) you should not weigh more than 100 ibs. 5'10 males should weigh about 140".

Okay that's nasty skinny. Not all girls can weigh 100 lbs, unless they starve themselves. What is it with all the little snotty princesses on this forum that think they're god's gift cuz they're skinny?

you suck    Friday, July 05, 2002 at 21:10:18 (PDT)
curious,

168 is a little slim, but perfectly fine for someone who's 6'2". I once dated a guy who was 5'10" and 128. He was actually envied by quite a few men--including those who were 6' and 190! Anyway, clothes hang better on very slim people, whether you're male or female. You'll always look more refined and elegant.

Personally, I think a lot of men are too obsessed with building muscle and gaining weight. Not all of us ladies go for Neanderthals.

Me, I prefer em' lean and mean! (Altho' sometimes I think little chubby guys can be cute too...!)

helplessly gangly,

Hey, you sound almost EXACTLY like me when I was 17! I ate 3 meals a day plus a cheeseburger and sometimes fries and a shake for an afternoon snack. If I was really decadent, I would have a double scoop of ice cream after dinner.

Take advantage of your crazy teenage metabolism while you can because it won't stay with you forever. After 25, weight tends to stay on you if you don't watch it. At 29, I'm now 5'5" and 110. Or 113 on a fatty day. If I want to maintain my weight, I have to eat salads and fruit (which I used to avoid.)

BTW, who cares what other people say? What business do they have walking up to you and telling you to lose weight? After all, you don't go up to them and say "Why are you so disgustingly fat?" (Or maybe that's what you should say if one more rude person makes a remark about your weight! )If they're girls, they're most likely JEALOUS. Plain and simple. I always found it interesting that the girls who told me I was "too skinny" were usually quite slim themselves: but they just didn't like other girls being slimmer. So get out your cutest crop tops, tight jeans, little mini skirts and make em' even greener with envy!

Moonshineprincess,

You're to SKINNY.
To found out your ideal weight, take a look in which categories of your bone frame.

For 5'3 If small frame -- 96-107.
Medium frame -- 103-114
Large frame -- 112-121

You need more meat. If u small bone frame 91 lbs is to light. You need at least extra 5lbs more to reached Ideal weight. Well just take a look your bone frame categories.

hi! I need help.
The one thing I hate most is when my family, friends, or even random people look at me and say, "God! You are sooo skinny!" "Does your mama feed you?!" "Are you anorexic/bullemic?"
I am 16 years old, 5'5, and 97 lbs. I eat. and i eat. and I eat. yet i never gain ANY weight. I run every Saturday (only to keep my heart healthy) and that's as active as I get. what is wrong with me??? will I gain weight anytime soon? and HOW do i gain some lbs?

I find that people who are at their so called "ideal weight" need to lose some damn weight. i never met a person who was attractive and also chubby, fat, or not-skinny in general. If you are 5'3-5'4 (average female height) you should not weigh more than 100 ibs. 5'10 males should weigh about 140. Remember that fat or meat is disgusting and should be shunned in all societies. Imagine all that stretch marks and cellulite. Gross!

Well that is my opinion on the whole weight issue.

Moonshineprincess,

damn girl get over yourself already! All your posts are the same. Why do you need to ask everyone in the world if you're pretty or thin, and post your web address so we can all go and admire you? I looked at your site and you are just average. You ain't no princess. So what if you're a 91 lb stick figure? I've never known anyone that had a website with a million pictures of themself. How conceited.
UGH!!!    Wednesday, July 03, 2002 at 09:29:53 (PDT)
is 168 lbs ok for someone who's 6' 2"?
curious    Tuesday, July 02, 2002 at 19:08:44 (PDT)
AA Dood, my bf is 5'10 and 143 and he seems really fat/"chunky" to me.

Do you people think that I am average for an Asian? I am 5'3 and 91 ibs.
Moonshineprincess    Friday, June 28, 2002 at 09:38:42 (PDT)
Mdm,

Exactly, you have to take into consideration what size your bone frame is. I read once that you can determine your bone frame by doing this: make a circle of your right hand, with your thumb and middle finger touching, and put it around your wrist, in FRONT of the big bones. If your fingers meet, you're medium. If they don't meet, your large. If they overlap, you're small. Thus someone like me with a medium frame would look hideously thin weighing 105.

Not Chinatown,

About the height and ideal weight,
I think depend on bone structures/frame.
3 categories: Tiny, Medium,and Big.

The smaller bone frame tend to be lighter weight. The bigger tend to heavier.

Catholic Priest Hidden Danger,

That's the Chinese people way of saying you're fat. Another saying is "Ni Fa Fu (You've become wealthy)." That also means you're fat.

Chinese people care about face sometimes. They gave you face. Enjoy it.
AC Dropout    Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at 10:18:47 (PDT)
Im 6'6, and 325 pounds.
I am dark skinned and when I went to China, people seemed more noticing of the fact that I am tall and dark rather than portly. I have very large arms and all I got was "oh..you are so strong" and "you are so healthy" from like 60+ Chinese people.

Im not sure if being TALL is synonymous with being healthy and strong in China because I know in America it isnt. I have large muscle groups but I dont have abs. I have a belly. Im working out like crazy to lose wieght though, but whats funny is in China, no one cared. They were preoccupied by height.

?

I think for a woman that's 5'3"-5'4", the ideal weight would be about 105-115, preferably in the lower end of that narrow range. For women 5'5" to 5'7" 115 to 125 pounds would be ideal. This is for Asian women though; I think that white women who 'look' the same weight (ie same size) as an Asian women tend to be heavier. I guess they just have higher muscle density. For white women, I say add about 5 pounds to the Asian standards to compute their 'ideal' range. Please note that this is only from an aesthetic standpoint.

60% of america is obese, so it's obvious that it's becoming an epidemic. Rare is special, special is cool. Hence thin/lean is cool/in.
