WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
to UGH!!!
Of course I'm NOT going to say you're jealous! It's just that you're part of the 'validation and attention' that she's seeking. Negative attention is still attention, and when someone needs it, they'll take anything they can get. Imagine how let-down she'd feel if no one responded to any of her questions.
In fact, this is a girl who thinks Marilynn Monroe is fat (she equates voluptuousness with obesity). OK, Marilynn is on the larger side of voluptuous, but she's by no means fat. this led me to believe that what I'm seeing is a girl who's got a very distorted self-image and who's very insecure about herself. She's seeking reassurance that she's an acceptable size to the general public rather than gloating over the fact that she's skinnier than you or me (I don't know about you, but she actually is skinnier than me). But I'm a curvy chick! I don't wanna drop my weight to the point where I lose critical mass in my breasts and hips. These are the show-stoppers!
So...that's why I wasn't bothered by her questions and obsession with her weight and height and all, and since you're a beautiful woman in your own right, I hope that you eventually will be OK with it too. :)

To you ignorant complaining people: (doesnt apply to everyone on here) If you say that being skinny is an unattractive trait, you are obviously lying and jealous. Have you ever seen a beautiful celeb/star/supermodel or artist who was chubby and labeled as beautiful? Hells no! there we go! THIN IS IN. don't deny it. for some, being thin comes naturally (and strangely enough, u dont see them complaining on this board). but to those who can't keep off the weight no matter what they do, i truely feel sorry for them. but they have no right to be bickering and complaining about skinny people. that is just what i really hate about people on here, u fuking asians are so biased and narrowminded. ( i thought u would be more supportive of ur fellow asians) like get a clue. and as much as u think thin people are ugly or whatever, we skinny people think that u guys are the most hideous vomit-inducing creatures ever.

chicky poo--my opinion is that if ur 5'6 the lowest weight range u should allow yourself to be is 98 ibs. don't get any lower than that. 125 ibs is alright i guess. i have friends who are 5'5 or 5'6 and weigh about 95-100 naturally (no dieting/anorexia) and it looks fine. (to all ur skinny-people haters out there, it looks fine!)
i think that u might be able to continue ur current "regimen" but i am not too sure how healthy it is, cuz u still need to get all ur nutrients and minerals.

chicky poo,
Hey, sounds like you're doing a fab job!!
I would not worry about weight loss unless you got under 115--but then it all depends on bone structure, too. If you're medium-boned, 120 might be more realistic.
X-tra tips: sometimes protein can make you gain muscle and therefore weight. (But, hey, I can't resist meat so I'm the last person who should be talking!) Seeweed, blueberries, and apples are great for digestion, too.
Keep up the good work!
P.S. The next problem is finding small sizes....

hey UGH!!!
m.p. seems to think we're the same person, which is kind of funny considering i've only posted on the height forum lately and because i'm a guy and you're a girl (i assume). email me? lol.
moonshineprincess,
'those other people' are THOSE OTHER PEOPLE. i know you don't want to believe it, but other people have the same opinions. and if u want to get technical, your IP address can change and usually does if you use 1. dialup or 2. aol's browser. i'm on a cable connection, so my IP is static. it stay's the same, but i bet you it won't match any of the one's you have. i never said you were ugly or conceited btw, i just said i wasn't turned on. still not.

Litto Asian Tiger,
When someone here says "Im awesome cuz I'm thin, and fat people are gross" and then someone disagrees with them, they always retort with "You must be fat". Well it may surprise you that I'm quite thin, I just don't like people that put down others because they aren't stick thin.

hi,
I am in the process of losing weight - I used to be 140, and am now 125 (yipee!) at 5'6". I used to exercise a lot(about 3hours / day), and then got a desk job and stopped exercising. I stayed pretty thin for a while, but it finally began to catch up with me, and now I'm in the process of taking it off by doing a combination of high protein/low carb (except fruit -- I like the vitamins/minerals in fruit & juice, but try to limit breads and starches). My question is, how thin is too thin. I think I could easily fall into the anorexic category if I allowed myself to continue on my current regimen. The only thing that is probably keeping me from indulging in anorexia is the thought that it will shut down your metabolism, and if you quit being anorexic then you would balloon up. I make sure that I graze and am never hungry, just keep up the food combining. what do you think is the lowest weight range someone at 5'6 with muscle should be?

MLK,
Yes it was a harmless question, but it just annoys me when people come on here saying "I'm 5'3 and 91 lbs, am I skinny?" They just want validation and attention. "Oh my god you're so skinny! How do you do it?" I know that you'll just say I'm jealous, but Im really not, I'm thin, but I wouldn't want to be that thin.

"don't hate me cuz i am beautiful, hate me cuz your boyfriend thinks so."

Hi Samantha you are not considered "fat" if you are pregnant because you have another human being inside of you, it's not your own fat. When you finally have the baby, the fat will go away with excercise, time, and patience, so i hear. And depending on your age, the fat will go away slower or faster. I seen a lot of women who've had babies and also have fantastic figures.
by the way, "UGH", "hbt" and those other people who say the same things about me are the same person. (saying that i posted a hundred pics on my website, that i am not pretty, yet concieted). by the way she also said that in my guestbook...which i found to be quite amusing. IP address says it all. No matter how much you change your nick names, or whatever, your IP address won't change. I am not a computer genius but i do know that much. I don't really care cuz she never seen me in real life.

Samantha,
Hey, calm down! Fat and pregnant are emphatically NOT the same. (Even if some fat women will claim they are pregnant.) There are many, many women who go back to their pre-pregnancy figure.
As for your husband. Men will always look. (Why do you think they're fixated on the TV?) Maybe he's only looking just to remind himself that you're so much better looking.
