People's comments sicken me. I nearly puked on my computer moniter. It reminded of how people view me as a Japanese-American female, and how far away we are from actually changing these stereotypes. I want people to see me as for who I am: An American female who is human, just like anyone else. (Well, maybe I'm not just like everyone else, maybe a tad bit crazy, but that has nothing to do with me because Asian.) Many people don't understand that you can be Asian AND American simultaneously. I am frequently complimented on my "good English"...! (I was born here.) Sometimes a guy will try to pick me up by saying, "Wow! You're Japanese? I've dated Asian women before!" (To which I always answer, "Wow! That's really interesting, because once, I dated a stupid, ugly, stereotyping white guy before!") I personally don't see anything special OR incredibly bad about Asian women in general... we're just humans. I personally have been involved with a wonderful blonde-haired blue-eyed boy for 2 years, and he dates me for who I am, NOT because I am Asian. I fully support interracial dating, but I always shudder at the image of the Asian fetish guy who struts down the street with a dainty, silent girlfriend on his arm. Mail-order brides. There are no particular character traits of Asian women... we all have different upbringings like anyone else in the world. Yes, some of us are materialistic, stupid, loyal, some of are shy, some of us are downright bitches, but some of are are altruistic, some of us are outgoing and intelligent. Some of us even cheat..... gasp! In other words, we are not some type of weird aliens on display, but human. And like all humans, we are indiv [CUT OFF due to packet-size limits]

I grew up in a large city in western canada and basically the only ethnic groups are whites and asians. All other ethnic groups are so small there really isn't a lot of opportunity to date anything else. I have dated both white and asian women and really have no preference. I actually date a person because of the person. Looks of course play a role but are secondary. I really don't see what the big deal is in regards to so called "inter-racial" dating. It is in anthropology where you learn that there is only one race, the human race. Everything else is just glorified tribalism and I think people should really clue into this a bit more and get over their insecurities. If you want to email any comments.... --cuzitsthere@aol.com

     First of all, I am a Chinese American woman married to a 3rd generation Japanese American man with a beautiful young baby...with BIG eyes!
     I consider my family to be extremely good looking amidst our slantier-eyed, fresh off the boat-looking, self-inflicted stereo-typical AA.
     As arrogant as I may seem, I at least have not lost touch with my Asian culture or feel the need to hide it in order to fit into 'American, white society'. Most of my female AA friends are cunning, backstabbing, selfish, untrustworthy and a couple of them, I call 'good friends'. I would never trust them to be alone with my husband nor divulge any private secrets unless I wanted it broadcast across the AA community. In general, and I have been guilty of it myself, AA women have a difficult time expressing sincerity, unless they're professional actors. AA women are always looking for the bad in people and are not to be trusted. We may be the world's most beautiful females but like a rose...watch out for the thorns! Knowing what I know about AA women, I feel sorry for people who genuinely believe that we are mild-mannered and gentle. Of course, I also believe that if anyone is that gullable, they deserve to be duped. On the good side, AA women can be very devoted to her family. Most of us in general do have our heads screwed on straight when it comes to family and career. But of course, there are always exceptions to the rule.
     Relationship-wise, filipinos, the bottom of the Asian food chain(not sure if they should even be classified as Asians anyways), are the worst at it. Filipino women are the most sluttiest, manipulative and devious of all. They will trap men, mostly gullable white men, and devour them whole. Fili [CUT OFF due to packet-size limits]

Some Asian Women, specially those who are quite young and can hardly speak english, marry really old white guyz. Then they go to America, Australia or whateva the White Guyz are from with their new and young Asian brides, then have kids with them, not counting the other kids from a previous marriage to a white woman, and then eventually die or leave to marry another asian woman. I juz find this kind of thing so f*ckin' disgusting! I know a lot of people who have done this! As a result, the the young asian women find that they have step-kids who are the same age as they are or older than them! I mean, what is so attractive about a white 80 year old guy that makes a 30 year old woman wanna marry him? (Aside from his money of course)

Women in Asia are far more prettier than the Asians here in the US. Just an observation. --WM

     Chinese martial arts is tight..agreed...Korean music is the best?? AHAHAHHAHHHHHAAAAAAAA!!! yeah sure, Britian had the best music from the 60's upwards (even now they're dominating the world with rave). Japanese people with their anime blah blah blah..
     Oh and, what, what people for inventing everything else??
     Guess you kinda forgot who came up with the television, the radio, the language you're using right now.

     I put this out to everyone reading this page.
     With time if caucasian, asian, black and other groups begin to date, marry and produce children then the future is one of racial deconstruction.
     Who cares if someone is asian, white, or black? Obviously everyone one this page that is concerned about classifying beauty.
