WHAT YOU SAY

[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
I think the answer to the second question on this poll is so funny!! "What do you like least about AA women" 79% say "Materialism and Superficiality" and 12% say "Personality and Attitude", so basically 91% of AA males don't like AA girls' personalities!! And you wonder why they go for white women.

"...Those who agrees with you are intelligent...and anyone who does not possess the same opinions as yours are clueless"
You have made an obvious though faulty conclusion (if A=B & B=C, then A=C) when in fact, this is not true. In reality, those who don't hold the same opinions that I do better have a damn good reason for holding one that's totally in opposition to mine. They should be able to support their ideas with solid reasoning in a sword-proof stance (and I'm usually very impressed with these individuals though our opinions may differ) or else I'll poke their reasoning full of holes. If you can't support your ideas, then you're clueless, not because you happen to hold differing thoughts but because you don't have a clue as to why you think the way you do.

Ergo, you're Clueless.

"...you have a tendency of putting words in people's mouthes to make your argument appear stronger and then you bash them for it."

That's what lawyers do with utmost skill and abandonment, and there's nothing wrong with using someone else's argument as a rebutal to their stance...ever heard of the phrase "...anything you say or write may be used against you in a court of law"? And to be perfectly honest, the most wonderful thing about a written forum is that there is no such thing as hear-say. What you believe and state is written in plain English for others to read, digest, extrapolate, quote-verbatim, and agree/or disagree as they see fit. I can no more put words in your mouth than you can in mine simply because the written form of dialoge does not allow this to happen. You either stand by your written words and risk getting shot down by them or you simply don't speak and stay in your safe cocoon. Not all people will agree with your words, but you should have the gumption to stand by them and explain yourself in a concise manner when another reader challenges your stance, and not be wishy-washy about it. In fact, the fun is all in the standing up for your ideas and making your stand crystal clear with absolutely no doubt about your position. The secret to all this, dear be, is that the written word is more powerful than the spoken word and you can do so much more simply because once something is written, it lives on in a fixed manner...but it's also a double-edged sword. If you don't have enough skills to use it well, you can be flayed alive by your own words.

Actually, it's not really fair for me to challenge you with the written word since writing is one of my strongest points (I hold a degree in it) and your strongest points may be something other than writing.

My advice to you. Challenge me only if you want to improve your critical reading and writing skills. I'll be more than happy to give you some pointers, but don't cry if you get hurt while we're sparring, because I teach my lessons with little pity or compassion for those who possess feelings that can get easily bruised.

The worst asian women are those who are self-centered, have bad temper and have rejected their asian heritage and like to lean toward non-asian guys. I don't like those kind of women.

I recall telling you NOT to respond to my post b/c you have a tendency of putting words in people's mouthes to make your argument appear stronger and then you bash them for it. Very smart tactic.

"Gurl" may have exhibited snobby traits...but you're not much different. Those who agrees with you are intelligent...and anyone who does not possess the same opinions as yours are clueless? Grow up!

Oh and you don't think I didn't read into that and understood it for what it was? I just laughed and replied with a double dose of sarcasm. Only, it takes a good reader with critical thinking skills to understand what I was getting across. It almost seems the only one who understood was eeyore-girl (all the more power to her).

If you think I sound arrogant with my reply, you should dig back several pages and read what she had to say about people in general...and then go back and re-read my post and you will see for yourself who has the arrogant attitude regarding their place in the world.

Actually, I think I had specifically said on another board within Goldsea that I wasn't going to reply to your posts anymore because you're the embodiment of the meaning of the word Clueless...but I thought I should set the record straight.

Happy reading.

i think "gurl" was being sarcastic when she said "you're smart, i'm dumb. you're beautiful, i'm ugly". you sound arrogant with your response...

"I am smart. But that doesn't make you dumb, just uninformed.
I am beautiful. But that doesn't make you ugly, just misunderstood."
