I like Asian American women because of their looks and personality. However, some of them have a bad attitude like if you don't know them they will think you are nothing. They will not talk to you or approach you unless they know you. That is what bothers me about them. Nevertheless, I'd still like to date and marry them.

You know , subconsciously this board stereotypes AAW. Look at the polls" which of the following do you like least abou AAW?" I'm not talking about this board either , but alot of the polls and messageboards are like this. I read some posts and man, does anybody go talking like this in real life?

You got it right on the buzzer! I was in Asia for awhile and cultivated the walk because everyone else was doing it and I looked like an oddball, walking without the shuffle at a much faster pace than everyone around me (folks walk, talk, eat, gesture, make love, you name it, so sloooowly everywhere else but in the good ole US, where it's a sin to be five minutes late to a party). Anyway, the shoes have everything to do with it. I couldn't walk properly for the life of me until I got back into my sneakers. Then, I had a funny American gait that made people stare, so...feeling somewhat chagrined, I went back to the Asian-made shoes and shuffled happily alongside everyone else.

I've seen girls do the scuffing walk wearing normal shoes, not backless. I think it's this little "thing" they do, like "I'm so cute and little". And always on the cell phone. It's like it's permanently glued to the ear.

i think the scuffling walk has to do with the types of shoes some asian girls wear. a lot of them wear the backless, platform wedge shoes that aren't very condusive to walking. hence, they can't lift their feet too far off the ground when they walk or their shoes will fall off. that is just my theory though...

I HATE!!!! the shuffle --really bugs me no end!! my sister does this, and I yell at her for it all the time. I'm glad there are others that find this annoying too! maybe now she'll believe me!

Does anyone else find this annoying? The way that asian women do this scuffing walk, without picking up their feet, as if it were a cute little girl walk or something. But it's just soooo annoying?? Pick up your feet!
