I never gawk at women whether AA or any other race. In fact, when i see a beautiful AA woman, my glance will be brief, even looking in the other direction unless they smile back. As far as my looks, all i can say is that i've had compliments from women, though never an Asian woman (too busy looking in the sky with noses UP). Hey, i don't expect an AA woman to even say "hi", but at least provide some gestures of potential affability. One shouldn't have to flirt just to get a smile.

Tips on staring:

Guys, there's a right way to stare and a wrong way to stare. This comes from personal experience in Britain where quite a few guys just don't have American confidence: so they prefer to stare rather than flirt. Sure, I've been asked out but I've also been stared at in the wrong way. Here are some clues as to what NOT to do:

1. Do not stare at a woman with your mouth hanging open. Do not drool. Or drop anything. You will look very stupid.

2. Do not stare and bump into anyone/anything. LOL, I remember wearing a little black sundress and two blokes in the library were so eager trying to get a closer glimpse of me that their heads knocked together.

3. Do not stare at a woman and then follow her around. (Woman will get even more disgusted.) One of these guys was even very attractive but I thought, "what a loser" if he can't even muster the balls (oops! wrong word)to say something.

These were all white British guys. The one guy who got it right was an ASIAN guy. He stared and then winked at me as I passed by. What a looker, too! Unfortunately, I never ran into him again.

Asian Guy, I think MoonshinePrincess has a point there. It could be that either you are unattractive or you are gawking at the female as you are walking by. If you are in an area where there is a fair amount of Asian representation then perhaps there will be less chance of an inside Asian acknowledgement if that is what you are seeking. I've done some reading up on single females in various articles and learned that many times in large cities,females are very defensive since they have to fend for themselves so they may have a fear factor. In almost all articles much stress has been emphasized regarding staring. This is also one of my favorite habits; to stare at attractive females. Not for creepy purposes but just to check out fine females. I know its something I have to keep reminding myself on a daily basis 24/7. Although I know I shouldnt, I just can't help it. This will defeat the purpose because the more you stare the more they may think you're creepy.so naturally they will never smile at you. One last point,it's true that a lot of Asian females believe that they're all that and in order to keep up appearances they must act like they're totally fine.And in many cases that may very well be.A lot of fine women do that no matter their race.You know when us guys always complain of these types not willing to give you the time of day?Well there you go!

Well its most likely that you are not attractive, Asian Guy, cuz if you were attractive, they would smile at you....and another thing is that girls will smile at a STRANGER guy if they were a big flirt. First of all, not every woman is a flirt. And for me, I would never smile at some guy who is gawking at me on the street. Girls think lowly of guys like that.

Why are alot of AA women pretentious and high maintenance? How can they think they're god's gift? When i see one walking down the street or any public place, i have yet to see one smile when looked at. Don't give me the crap that it's because of culture when it isn't when they've lived here in the States for so long, or even born in the U.S. My suggestion to AA women is to smile when a guy looks at you since they probably think you're attractive.
