I don't know if there's anything wrong per se about an AF having a non-asian bf even if she is president of the AA club and even if she brings him along to functions.

I guess what is bad is seeing both the combination of white male hormones directed at women in a particular setting based on their ethnicity and not having any non-asian females to provide some balance.

It's a little surprising to me coz as a white guy with a fairly broad interest in Asia and asian people i find it difficult to meet AF's who are open to the IR thing.....(and btw i speak/read an asian language, have travelled/worked in asia, have lots of great asian friends and a good career/education) ...i find most of them and generally the richer and better looking ones feel more comfortable "with their own kind" - not that there's anything wrong with that.

I just find it odd that out of a large group of asian people not a single one would have a WF even as a friend to drag along. Where's the so called melting pot that i hear so much about in the states - and don't blame it on media portrayals of AM - that old chestnut has been trotted out one too many times.

From where i stand a smart asian guy like yourself should have at least home ground advantage over over those oversexed white schmucks (if that's what they are)....i think it's' strange that this isn't the case....oh well respekt

Asia, yes AA girls do have bad attitudes for the most part. Snobby, arrogant and very materialistic. They think they're god's gift to this earth when most of them are woefully average. I'll stick with WF's, they have a much brighter, outgoing, warm personality.

Relax guy. If you get jealous like that, you're letting them win (though I don't like to think that we're 'in competition' with them... I see AFs as my sisters). Just join the game, get with a hot white chick. I have an interesting anecdote to share with you. Although my intention wasnt to 'one-up' AFs in this sellout game, I did date a gorgeous white girl in college at one point. We were at the beach (at Santa Monica Pier), and there were several AFs with WM. Most of them were those short 5 foot 1 Filipinas who were obviously the FOB, war-bride types straight from over there. It was a hot, HOT day, so I was shirtless and she was wearing ripped jean shorts and a bikini. She is very slim with large breasts and blonde hair (typical surfer type) and I was shredded from rigorous training. The bitch stares by the midget Filipinas and the dumbfounded looks by the white guys who were staring at my girls rack were incredible... just hilarous. One even jabbed her fat white man in the ribs for staring! Haha... If you got the game and cinfidence, then you can certainly hit them back where it hurts. Until then, stop being insecure, work out, work on your smooth talk, and go get yourself a hot-ass white girl and go to a all white joint and cause a stir. I'm with a Korean girl now, but that's what I would do if I were in your position. That is if you have the balls to pull that off well. I was always a rebel though.

TO ASIAN DOM,

Was the AF from Oakbrook a true sellout complete with WM and all the trimmins? When I first moved to the Westcoast I attended an AA gathering and lo and behold the president, an attractive young AF, was being flanked at the beach/party picnic by her bf, a WM!
It was weird. So I thought, is this how things are in Cali? I started asking some of the brothers at the party about this and they kinda grumbled, yeah it's true. Oh and in addition, at our Asian American party there were at least 3 to 4 WMs present and no WFs only Asian. So it doesn't take Einstein to figure out that something was fishy. After seeing our distinguished president enjoying her WM the other WMs started moving in for the kill also. It left a sickening feeling in my gut and I just couldn't enjoy the swimming, sailing and frolicking because all this crap was going down right in front of my very eyes. To think that my buddy, who invited me, said that these were the 'high end babes', the lawyers, entrepreneurs, professionals, that sort. But these very women were falling by the wayside, smitten. Top that one!

Ewww...you want to know how these AF sell-outs think?! Or do you mean IF they think? The problem with picking their brains--or what passes for brains--is that there's nothing there but a mass of atrophied cells. (BTW, this applies to male sell-outs, too.)

Ive met enough of AF sellouts in my women's college, thank you very much. Thank God, most of them were not bright enough to go to any graduate school, let alone a decent one so I wasn't burdened with their acquaintance in England.

One of the worst things is dressing well and conservatively because they assume you're one of THEM. Ugh. I remember one very obnoxious little twit who went on and on to other folk about how rich she was. Tacky, tacky, tacky. Anyway, one day I got stuck with her when we were setting up stuff for our AA meeting (Asian Americans, not Alcoholics Anonymous) and she mentioned she was from Illinois. We then got onto the subject of disgusting crowds at Water Tower (shopping mall) and I said "the most vulgar ones are from suburbs like Oakbrook or Northbrook, you know the nouveau riche brats whose parents were the first generation in the family to get any kind of a decent degree and so they wear the flashiest clothes, are overly made up and generally show off in the most disgusting way imaginable." Pause. She then said "I'm from Oakbrook." Oops!

LOL, what a laugh!!
