     Jason Chen received his BA in business administration from Taiwan National Chen Kong University in 1981 and his MBA from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 1988. His first employer was a Taiwanese electronics company called Copam. Chen then became a field sales rep for IBM Taiwan. In 1991 Chen joined Intel as a Taiwan reseller channel manager. Two years later, he became one of the first few sales staff to be based in Beijing. In 1999 Chen made company history by becoming the first locally hired employee to become co-general manager of Intel's Asia-Pacific region.
     Chen is married. He enjoys taking walks, swimming and reading in his spare time.
