By far the most Asian friendly faculty. Not to mention that it is the best medical school period.

Hooray I got accepted into U of Mich. @ Ann Arbor. Not sure if I'm gonna go there. My first choice is Georgia Tech.

The University of Illinois-Chicago has no ethnic majority of any one group. Each group (white, black, east-asian, south-asian, latino) comprises less than fifty percent of the class. South-Asian and East-Asian actually seem over-represented.

At both Northwestern and UIC, the 7 year undergrad to med school shunt programs are predominantly asian. I'd estimate that over 80% of these programs are made up of asian kids.

UCLA was and still continues to be the best med school for Asians. The reputations is stellar and the placement of students into highly competitive fields (eg Plastic Surgery, Rad Onc, Ortho etc) is exceptional.

I loved the experiences the proximity to K-town and the beach and the opportunity to do rotations at over 8 hospitals

I was admitted to Harvard, Yale, Hopkins, Stanford, and UCSF. I decided on UCSF primarily because of financial aid. However, I now realize that I have made a great decision. My counsin who is at harvard tells me that it is really cut throat there. UCSF trains you real well for step 1 also. My class scored in the 90 percentile.

I'm a recent graduate of U. of Michigan's Medical School and, besides receiving a world-class education, had an awesome time there! (this coming from a California girl, no less!)
