Are AA Women the Real Victims of Prejudice?
sian women get a free ride at the expense of Asian men. That's the received wisdom here in the U.S. This belief appears premised on the suspicion that American society sees Asian women as sexy exotics in need of rescuing from the cold clutches of Asian men who don't know how to smile except evilly.
The real victim?

Credit Hollywood for its tireless casting of Asian women as sexual accessories to white heroes while suppressing the very existence of Asian men except as unsavory paper tigers. Credit too the TV networks that uncover bevies of talking Asian women but rarely their male counterparts.
In fairness this media fantasy of the Asian race was partly inspired by recent history. Devastated and impoverished Asian nations sent tens of thousands of war brides and orphans, followed by several million desperate immigrants willing to hock their identities while toiling to build new lives.
Male-dominated societies toast new women as exotic sexual prospects while suppressing new men as an exploitable lower class or even enemy aliens. The women get all the breaks and the men get all the lumps. Even worse, the women have their heads turned and adopt a scornful attitude toward their own men. So goes the complaint of some AA men.
The women have a different take. Sexual predators bearing insulting stereotypes must be fended off while coping with women who see them as unfair competitors. Add to that the pain of being scorned as sellouts by AA men for no more reason than their apparent welcome by American society. Worst of all, complain AA women, is being begrudged the right to take simple pleasure in their own identities. How much easier just to face straightforward racial prejudice!
Do Asian women really have an easier time in America? Or do they suffer from the double-whammy of insulting stereotypes from non-Asians and unfair persecution from Asian men?

Yes AF's cover the spectrum, but a large majority of them fall under the slim and very young looking, and small overall.
Where I work, they have to card everyone who wants to get in. The security guys hate carding Asians because it's almost impossible to tell how old they are w/o I.D, and even then. A lot of the times, they find Asians who are in their 30's who look look like they're just barely out of highschool.
Even the ladies who have older looking faces have bodies that resemble younger teenaged girls. You have to wonder about non-am's who date AF's. I'm sure there are some.
AM can't fall into that because we're form the same gene pool, we're used to seeing that.

I know you said you were only "assuming" but no, I'm not white. Not totally. I am mixed. I have no Asian in me whatsoever but do have a fondness for Asian men and I simply don't like the way some AFs reject them for white men simply on the basis that the other man is white. Of course not all of them do it so that is good but I guess these women's loss is my gain. As long as many AFs chase white men (and vice versa...the WMs are exactly victims), more AMs will begin to look towards women of other races...I win!! haha just kidding. Seriously though, I do think it makes them rethink the whole "I have to stick w/my own" theory and make them look at other women. My current boyfriend is Chinese and I don't flinch at all when there are other AFs in the vicinity!! I figure if he wanted to be w/one, he would be, right? He's w/me b/c he likes me, not b/c I'm mixed, not b/c I'm non-Asian. He likes me for my personality and attractiveness...so if he leaves me for another, yes I would be upset but that pain would be no greater depending on the other female's race. Oh, I do agree w/the media representation of AFs w/WMs but again I think it stems from Asian fetishism and the fact that WMs know they have to face the wrath of black men when they go after black women so if they desire to date a non-white woman...which race of males pose no threat to them?? Asian men or Black men? Trust me, when I've been out w/white men myself, I've heard many comments from black and latin men complaining and of course they will do it loud enough to make sure the guy I'm w/hears it. Let's face it, from what I've seen, Asian men don't say ANYTHING when a WM is w/an AF so the WM isn't threatened by dating her. I don't think it's that they prefer AFs over BFs but I do think it poses less of a threat from males of that females race when they're w/AFs. Many times when I have seen WM w/AF, they are looking me up and down right in front of that woman so obvious that they are strictly after AFs (since I in no way look Asian). These particular men just want something exotic, that's all. This is way too long...I'm done!! :-)

I think WF's get even by dating BM's. It's the BF's who get royally screwed. Not only are there less (much less) bm's to begin with, but what's left is getting picked off by N.America's standard of beauty.
I don't think WF's are the "prey". I find that usually attractive AFs are usually with inferior white guys. If it's a handsome white guy, he's usually with an inferior AF. I can't figure that second one out (a family friend is in a situation like that right now).

AFs who stands up for themselves aren't bad, it's when they get carried away like some feminists that would probably turn a lot of guys off.

what the hell do you care about the attractiveness or otherwise of AF's physical attributes.....if you bothered to look you would realise that they cover the whole spectrum.....just like other women
so a WM who goes after AF's is a closet peodaphile but non-WM are not.....how is that logical....how did you work that out???
