Are AA Women the Real Victims of Prejudice?
sian women get a free ride at the expense of Asian men. That's the received wisdom here in the U.S. This belief appears premised on the suspicion that American society sees Asian women as sexy exotics in need of rescuing from the cold clutches of Asian men who don't know how to smile except evilly.
The real victim?

Credit Hollywood for its tireless casting of Asian women as sexual accessories to white heroes while suppressing the very existence of Asian men except as unsavory paper tigers. Credit too the TV networks that uncover bevies of talking Asian women but rarely their male counterparts.
In fairness this media fantasy of the Asian race was partly inspired by recent history. Devastated and impoverished Asian nations sent tens of thousands of war brides and orphans, followed by several million desperate immigrants willing to hock their identities while toiling to build new lives.
Male-dominated societies toast new women as exotic sexual prospects while suppressing new men as an exploitable lower class or even enemy aliens. The women get all the breaks and the men get all the lumps. Even worse, the women have their heads turned and adopt a scornful attitude toward their own men. So goes the complaint of some AA men.
The women have a different take. Sexual predators bearing insulting stereotypes must be fended off while coping with women who see them as unfair competitors. Add to that the pain of being scorned as sellouts by AA men for no more reason than their apparent welcome by American society. Worst of all, complain AA women, is being begrudged the right to take simple pleasure in their own identities. How much easier just to face straightforward racial prejudice!
Do Asian women really have an easier time in America? Or do they suffer from the double-whammy of insulting stereotypes from non-Asians and unfair persecution from Asian men?

maybe you are a closet cradle snatcher if you like AM.....And bottom line (and you can argue it all you want) is that majority of AMs ARE built like preteens. I have not only seen this for myself but have also heard it from many AFs and from females of other races...black, white and Latin. You cannot honestly say, with a straight face, that this isn't true....just thought i'd illustrate what a pointless argument this is.

Curious1, I definitely agree with you. Almost all the AF's I've ever seen are built like preadolescents, stick thin, with almost no curves, no chests, no butt or thighs. The ones that don't look like that are the ones that are fat, and since they have small bones they can't get away with it, they have big rolls that show through their clothes. My AM boyfriend used to date AFs but he told me that when we used to work together he would watch me walk by because he was infatuated with my body- (I'm slim, but muscular and curvy from working out). He loves my curvy butt and thighs and legs and chest. Believe it or not, not all men are looking for stick figures to date, a lot of men really do appreciate curves on a woman.

I've been away from this site for a while and just saw the comments directed at me from Maxdacat and Just a Thought. Well, here's my reply...
Maxdacat: I don't care about the attractiveness or unattractiveness of AFs. I have no complaints about myself so I could care less about the physical characteristics of others. I merely pointed out what I've seen. And bottom line (and you can argue it all you want) is that majority of AFs ARE built like preteens. Just look at huu76's comment. And I believe (could be wrong) that he is an AM. It's not so much a slam against AFs as it is just an observation so I see that WMs who date them either have some Asian fetishism goin' on or they're pedophiles!! Sorry...but I'm entitled to my opinion. AM who date AFs aren't seen as pedophiles b/c, again like huu76, that's what they grew up around and are used to. I've dated AMs who had previously only dated AFs and then told me after being w/me, they realized what they were missing in the "built" category when it came to AFs. Again, not a slam against them...just a harsh reality. It's not like I said they were ugly or anything. You're getting way too defensive over it. That is unless your girlfriend is completely flat then I can understand the hostility!
Just a Thought: I REALLY think you need to re-read my post. I didn't say all WMs dating AFs are pedophiles. My main point is that they don't see AMs as a threat so when they want something different, they gravitate more towards AFs not b/c they find them better than other women but just that they don't have to deal w/the wrath of AM like they would have to w/Latin or Black men who happen to be more vocal in general and might say something to the white guy for being w/a Latina or Black female. I think you were just seeing what you wanted to see in my post and not the actual point I was getting across.
Anyone else have a problem w/the truth???

i agree you do have to wonder about some WM who date asian (see my post in white perspective on asians) but i think a lot of what gets labelled as fetishism is just normal male hormones at work it's just directed at a different (ie non-white) target eg:
1) "man blonde chicks are da bomb"
- a perfectly acceptable thing for any guy to say
2) "hispanic chicks have great booty"
- not an unreasonable thing for a guy to say
3) "asian chicks are the best"
- ok for an AM to say but if a WM says this he must be weird, a loser, closet gay/peadophile/racist/reverse racist whatever.
i think if a WM are going to date IR then they should rise above superficial attraction and really question their motives.

Easiest way to tell the age of an Asian woman is to look at her neck and her feet. As Asian women age, they mainly get wrinkles on their necklines and their feet, even though they may look young everywhere else. Also, some of them get odd concentrations of dark freckles on their cheekbones.
