Are AA Women the Real Victims of Prejudice?
sian women get a free ride at the expense of Asian men. That's the received wisdom here in the U.S. This belief appears premised on the suspicion that American society sees Asian women as sexy exotics in need of rescuing from the cold clutches of Asian men who don't know how to smile except evilly.
The real victim?

Credit Hollywood for its tireless casting of Asian women as sexual accessories to white heroes while suppressing the very existence of Asian men except as unsavory paper tigers. Credit too the TV networks that uncover bevies of talking Asian women but rarely their male counterparts.
In fairness this media fantasy of the Asian race was partly inspired by recent history. Devastated and impoverished Asian nations sent tens of thousands of war brides and orphans, followed by several million desperate immigrants willing to hock their identities while toiling to build new lives.
Male-dominated societies toast new women as exotic sexual prospects while suppressing new men as an exploitable lower class or even enemy aliens. The women get all the breaks and the men get all the lumps. Even worse, the women have their heads turned and adopt a scornful attitude toward their own men. So goes the complaint of some AA men.
The women have a different take. Sexual predators bearing insulting stereotypes must be fended off while coping with women who see them as unfair competitors. Add to that the pain of being scorned as sellouts by AA men for no more reason than their apparent welcome by American society. Worst of all, complain AA women, is being begrudged the right to take simple pleasure in their own identities. How much easier just to face straightforward racial prejudice!
Do Asian women really have an easier time in America? Or do they suffer from the double-whammy of insulting stereotypes from non-Asians and unfair persecution from Asian men?

Talking about Gender divide between AM and AF here. It's it the misuderstanding or what?
Since I am Azn-Pride and a men here I want to be balance. I am not going to diss AF anymore than I would non-AF. No females from two side can be perfect as well as imperfect. I think both side has their positive and negatives. So I want to make this as clear as possible, I think AF are beautiful as non-AF are. Just as non-AF that can be snobby as AF can be. I've been through my days and seen it all. I've encounter both rude, snobish non-AF as well as AF.
So Madacat if your reading this, I hope your not offended by my other two post. I do date AF as well, I think they are wonderful. They have their positives and negatives. No-one is perfect so can't blame them.
What's good about AF is that they have beautiful hair, eyes, culture, determination and goal. They are understanding, caring and family oriented. They have beautiful body and are sexy as well. And non-AF has all this too. I am not going to say that one side is better b/c like I said their is positive and negative on both side. Non-Af has their own beauty and AF has their own beauty. Over all, each side has their own features of good look.

Azn Pride, I'm glad to hear that there are more Asian men that find non-Asian women attractive. :) You said that we have stronger personalities, why is it that you like that? Do you think that AFs are too weak, jealous, bitchy and possessive? That's what I've heard other AMs say.
I think the AM image is changing very rapidly, I see more really good looking Asian males on TV shows, and in movies once in a while. I think as time goes by more and more AMs will date non-AFs. There are plenty of us non-AFs that appreciate and are attracted to you guys, believe me!
Actually, maxdacat is a white guy with an AF fetish, I've seen his posts before.

Whomever says that many AF are built like preteens are dreaming. No, they may not all be built like Dolly Parton, but most of the AFs I dated before I got married were 34-36 B-C, which is NOT preteen size by any means. My wife was a 34-B before we had our daugther--definitely NOT a preteen. She's became 34-C after pregnancy. She's still slim--she weighs around 110-115 at 5'4" tall. But she's NOT built like a preteen.
Looking around Houston, I have seen SOME Asian women who are in the A-cup range and slim, most most of the Asian women I see who are over 23 are in the B-C range--built like women, even if they are slim
So quit generalizing about AFs or the men who love them already.

Don't worry your little head honey, I'm a size 2 and am far from fat. No decent man would call his girlfriend fat, sorry if you only attract losers that put you down like that. And even if I did have a weight problem I certainly wouldn't ask you about it.

here's a thought,
if Harrison Ford is dating Calista Flockhart can we safely assume he is a closet peadophile?.....if you believe some of the posters here the answer would be no - unless he didn't share the same "gene pool", in which case the answer would be yes!??!!
it would be nice if some of these non-AF's out there could keep their thoughts to themselves if they have nothing CONSTRUCTIVE to say.....otherwise try and show some empathy.
anyway i am off to have dinner with 2 AF friends and yes they are a little on the slim side but NO they are not built like they are aged 12 or less!

Maxdacat is just using this, in the bracket [AM are built like preteen] as a counter argument. B/c she knows that many AM won't give here the time of day, so she is piss. The AM these day are more attracted to non-AF, and relationship between AM with non-AF is growing in number. So she feels threaten. She got major issues!!!

Didn't intend to dis asian guys i was merely trying to turn a silly argument on its head.....the assertion (incorrect in my view) is that the majority of AF's are built like pre-teens.....i was thinking about my own experience and thought that of the many asian males & females i know, physically they cover the whole spectrum.....admittedly that is a different spectrum from whites, black & latinos etc but i don't think that AF should be judged by non-asian standards.....anyway good for you if you can find the time to work out

AF can feel snobby all they want. And when they do, there will be some AM out there that won't give them the time of day. Some-one like myself, maybe.
The AM's imagine is changing rapily now. More of them are open up to females like you then they would AF. AF ain't all that in my eyes, and when they think they are. It sure makes them look pretty darn STUPID.
And I have to tell you, I have PRIDE AS AN AM. LOL

You don't have to worry about maxdacat, she can talk all she want, but I as a AM would rather perfer non-AF anyway. I'm more attractive to non-AF. I think they look way better than AF. They have better body and strong personality which AF don't have. If I were to choose a beautiful non-AF vs a beautiful AF. No doubt that I would [be more attracted to] choose the non-AF. I must say I give non-AF more attention then I would the AF.
I am also not going to lie that all or most AM are built. THEY NOT!!But this goes to all race, I have also seen some non-asain guy that aren't as built as me.
Thanks for sharing your post with us, I think it is great. Maxdacat is mess up in the head and is try to do what she can to get to you. STAY STRONG, you got my support!!!!
