AA MEN SEEK OUT NON-ASIAN WOMEN

sian women are only interested in non-Asian men and don't give Asian men the time of day. That's the reason cited by many AA men for dating and marrying non-Asians. A minority of AA men say they simply find non-Asian women more physically attractive or more appealing in terms of personality, values and interests.

Whatever the reasons, the rates at which young Asian men are dating and marrying non-Asian women are quickly approaching the rates at which Asian women are outdating and outmarrying (about 38%). Some Asian women are complaining that they aren't getting a fair shake because Asian men have been brainwashed by media standards of desirability.
What are the real reasons for so many Asian men seeking out non-Asian women? How do Asian women really feel about this trend? Who benefits most from it? Will the trend continue? We want to hear your views.

but hey at least i have a real idea that does make sence since i know a few AM/WF couples around me in Korea.
Actually there are lots of super quality white women everywhere.
I 'd been to Europe and America for travel and there found lots of attractive white women everywhere I'd been. Sure I had chances to talk to them,They are just simply women.
Lots of them are NOT sluts.
actually, Many of them are quite decent inside, physically attractive and have a good education size like many of asian women.
but the problem is "THEY DON'T FIND ATTRACTION FROM ASIAN MEN or only open minded for mostly white or sometimes black men".
In other words ,they have disparate(i meant slightly different nature of) feelings to Asian men.
WHITE was nomad folks.
ASIAN was agricultural folks.
I think that's the reason why asians physicallyt shorter in general and both sides have lots of different cultures.
but anyways the morals are not much different between two folks.
Sluts exist in both of white and asian females in many numbers or not.
BUt slut is quite extreme word of men's view, in history men wanted to see women as for their personal servants or propoerties. but what about men in history?? see how many numbers spouses the kings had in both of western and eastern history.
So it doesn't matter how many times a woman have had sex or not in past or in future. just personal thing. never mind!
Well personally I know a few of AM/WF married couples and found a common factor(but of course just limited to a few couples.)from them.
well it was not the physical thing or materialistic, but it is real soul and emotion match that tied them in love.
A good example from my cousin.
He married to a German woman who was his classmate in univirsity.
And after he made his degree at school, he had to get back to Korea so they had to be seperated in a long distance for 2.5 years.
My cousin is not tall or well shaped.
just 172cm height, and normal body.
but one merit from him-he looks really sweet and cute. but not incredibly handsome style.
his wife is 170cm height.
she is good looking white woman.
but conservative feature on her face.
And one another -he is very supportive and encourageble for others but very modest when he value himself.
I heard his wife found big attraction from his personality.
anyways he still denies he is a good man and always say i was so lucky to get married to her!
How they maintained their relationship in a long distance,
Yes he wrote lots of handwriting love letters to her day and night. (no electronic mails because he knew her taste was handwriting stuff.)
Always give best caring from all the bottom of his heart for her.
So they finally married and now live together happily but they want to get out of korea since lots of koreans bother with asking them how they married and sometimes people around them give bad words to them.
MY main idea=====>please don't try to disparage white women because they don't give you a chance or have no interests. At least they have eyes to select their taste men.
and same advice for asian men who always complain asian females in the same coherence.
but hey please try to look for what the real attractive things you can raise and complete.
LOOK FOR YOUR ADVANTAGES that is still not found by youself!
My personal opinion-the physical attractiveness can't work efficiently for AM.
And some asian men who dyed hairs or piercing to imitate white men DON'T look so nice!!!!!! (but my personal impression)
GOD create the world and gave the all equal chances for everyone!

Most of the white women i know are not 'mentally weak'. They are very balanced, confident, independant-thinking and well-educated. I don't know what you mean by 'strong'. But so many black women are just much ado about nothing, fussy, loud. The strong character comes rom within. Getting into fight is strong? I don't think so. SOmetimes trying to rein in our anger is much stronger.I think what best reflects a woman's drive and strongness is the amount of achievement she's made. And many WF achieve so many
things in terms of education, work. If BF are strong, they would take advantage of that to do well academically, finacially and get a stable place in society. In this regard, WF and AF certainly do not lose ground to blacks.
I don't think I like a strong woman. I like a woman who is both strong and feminine. Someone who is well-educated, determined, strong willed and feminine. Most of the succesful women are feminine outside and strong inside. I, like most men, wouldn't want to be with a 'strong' woman who is agressive, loud. I've seen so many BF falling into this catergory. Women who lack feminity are not women IMo.

I think cali gil overgeneralize and overexxagerate when implying asians suffer a SEVERE INFERIORITY COMPLEX as a race. If she has to learn because she 'doesn't understand' such a simle fact then i think she' s pretty dumb. wat about those black guys who kiss WW's ass? could blacks be categorized as having extrmely low self esteem as a race. What the hell are you talking about? I don't know many asians who think WFs are sluts. If anything, i've seen a lot of slutty blacks. (it is not a generaliztion, i'm speaking from my experince).
I think WF are easy to get along w/. They are outgoing however wat i don't like about some of them is they're pretty fickle...happy one minute then look forlonely the other for no reason. Asian girls are not as out going but they don't have that kind of character.
Latino i think are pretty similar to whites but more low maintenace.
disagree w/ anyone who say they're unactractive.in terms of physical attractiveness, having dated women of all races, I can honestly say I'll pick latino, korean, chinese, persian and hapas women. I think they're true gems. As for white,I am never really attracted to the Nordic type. i like brunettes. They have a very classy and polished look.

That's not what I meant and I'm sorry if it sounded like that. I don't think there is a vast majority of BFs or WFs that date AM. I think both groups have a small number. That's just the way it is w/IRs in general, I think. The point I was trying to get across, basically, is that AM should give women of other races a chance and not just WFs. You also said, "Growing up, I remember them making racist remark, such as, "chink chunk" to asain people walking down the street in their neighborhood. In general, if asain go to black or spanish neighborhood they tend to get pick on." That's sad to hear but I do seem to recall hearing similar comments made to the few Asians that I went to school with by whites and blacks. As a matter of fact, I remember them getting together to make fun of the few Asians. I think it was mainly b/c they were very shy, kept to themselves and were easily outnumbered. Everyone knows kids can be cruel.

hm...i also think some AMs want to emphasize on the humialiating state of the AW who saw him w/ a decent woman. haha it's so funny i always hear them descrbing all the timethe 'victim' as 5'1 or 5'2 while the g/f is 5'8.
i think s good height make you more noticable. but it;s not really an important factor. i've seen a lot of 5'7 and over tall chinese and korean AFs and japanese filippinos who are 5'5 or 5'6 and over. I am a 5'5 korean girl , neither short nor tall but i have other redeeming qualities and my frame is not petite and scrawny.i don't think i am intimidated by tall women. if you are tall and slim then it's really eyecatching. But if you're tall and you are skinny or fat, that would look incredibly awful. so if you're tall and want to look good you 've gotta have a nice body. if not it wouldn't do much.I dunno i think many men like medium height girls . I think 5'5 or 5'6 is OK.
some ams would pick a short or petite girl w/ a cute face rather than a giraffe tall women.

All I have to say about your post is... THANK YOU & IT'S ABOUT TIME!! hehe I've been spouting this for a while now. My friends and I just can't understand why Asian men seem to be so shy and intimidated when it comes to approaching women. My current boyfriend is Chinese and the last guy I dated before him was pinoy. I'm mixed and I don't think either of them had dated anything but Asian girls before me. I know for a fact my current boyfriend hadn't. Anyway, I had to end up approaching both of them when we met b/c I'v realized that Asian guys just won't approach. So if I see one I like, I'll just approach him...that is if I get my nerve up and I think he might be interested.

You know it's funny you should mention that b/c when I was in college, I had a lot of friends that were from other parts of the world such as India, Africa, Vietnam, etc. One thing I found was the overwhelming notion that all these guys had about WFs being sleezy and easy. They all said that in their countries that's how white American women were perceived. I believe they got most of this from watching TV. Funny thing is that I think a lot of WFs think men of other races chase after them b/c they think they are so beautiful or so much better than women of their own race but the harsh reality seems to be that while the men may "tell" the women this to get to them, they are actually thinking in the back of their minds "Hmmm...how quickly can I get her into my bed?!". I have a lot of WF friends and unfortunately many of them fall into this category of being easy and believing men of other races when they drop those lines on them about how much better they are compared to Black women, Hispanic women, etc. I've managed to open a few of my friends' eyes and when they didn't give it up quickly to these men, guess what? The men seemed to somehow suddenly lose interest in them. Hmmmm...wonder why??

As opposed to what? What race can you not say this same thing about? Following that reasoning, shouldn't Asians like ALL races? I don't know any race of people you can't say this about. Especially the 2 dominant minorities in this country...blacks and latins. I've found both groups to be very friendly and less prejudice than most whites as a whole. I think the Asians who think this are barking up the wrong tree.

in general are much more peaceful, civil, ambitious and respectful than other races. That's why we outperform all other races in schools, less likely to be involved in criminal activites. I guess out of all other races white, black and Hispanic. Whites in general
come closest to all those virtues we value. Not saying most blacks and Hispanics don't but as you are aware there is a visable amount of blacks and Hispanics ,to a lesser degree, who pertatuate this negative image.

Read most of the posts, and there are really a lot of opinions out there. Can we just dat3 someone simply because we are attractive to the person for one reason or another? It’s the combination of the person’s physical appearance and personality makes him/her attractive. Skin color, body type, culture background…they are all part of the package. Everyday AM are working hard and making themselves more visible in the society. Naturally AM will be more appealing to other ethnic groups because of that. Guys, if you have a crush on an AF, go for it. If you were asked out by a BF, WF or whoever, if you are interested it, go for it as well. It only shows that you are independent, sophisticated and open-minded.

That has been my observation as well. when a women is into asian guys no one else will do. I've seen beautiful women near handsome guys of other races, but when she has an asian guy on her radar you can kiss saying anything to her goodbye.
I actually think it's a chemical reaction that takes place. Asians seem to have a knack for making women and men go crazy. It seems natural.

AM do not think WF are slutty. Awhile ago, I asked an AM friend of mine, who dates AF only (so far), if AF feel they're less attractive than WF. His response was, "Of course, that's why you see them dressed/acting all slutty."
AM also do not think WF are "mentally weak." If anything, they are more down to earth and rational rather than driven by their insecurities and negative emotions.
In fact, part of the attraction to WF is their emotional stability. It's not just a physical attraction.

See man, now that's just wrong. First of all it's ASIAN and not ASAIN (pronunced ASANE). LOL!! Maybe the ASAINs you were talking to were thinking like that but the ASIANs I've met don't seem to think that way, well not all of them think the same way.
What's this prejudice? Did you get rejected by every single WFs or something? WFs and well you know what, any female is respectable and has her own way/style. Are you from a super conservative background or something? Did you freak out when you first saw two people kissing? Cause you sound like you did.
Personally I find women from any race attractive and interesting. I still find that non-AFs are more open minded though. That's through my experience at least.
