hen many people see a pretty white woman with a good-looking Asian man the question that pops into their heads is "Why's she with him?" more often than "Why's he with her?"
It's only natural. We've been told so often about the desirability of white women that we simply presume that an Asian man too would find a pretty white women desirable. But we are left to guess at her possible motives for being with him. Not that there aren't hundreds of thousands of handsome, charming and successful Asian men who, by all rights, should be attractive to women of any race. But we are all too aware that American society has built up many negative preconceptions about Asian men that would take extraordinary consideration, some special X factor, to overcome.
The many examples of famous AM/WF couples (Mr/Mrs Yo-Yo Ma, Ming Tsai, Scott Oki, Charles Wang etc), don't really help, merely reinforcing the common presumption that the AM must be wealthy and able to provide an exceptional degree of financial security, material comfort or social status. Another common suspicion is that he must be unusually charming, cultured or sexually gifted. Then there's the old standby -- that the woman must have some odd fixation on Asian men or Asian culture.
Of course intellectually we know better. Just as there are many independent-minded Asian men who see through blonde bimbo stereotypes to the real qualities of white women, there are white women who ignore stereotypes about Asian men. Which leads to the question: What's the real draw? Is it the black hair? educational level? smooth skin? cultural values? upslanting eyes? personality and character traits? Here's a chance for white women who love Asian men to set the record straight.

and you'll probably never will. suffice to say i don't want to reiterate the difference between "oriental" and "asian." i don't think any self-respecting ASIAN guy would want to go out with you if you can't even get the adjectives right.

Do Asian men like blonde women? Oh absolutely! It's safe to say that most of us Asian men are fascinated with blonde-haired women; call it the attraction of opposites! *smile* I normally don't have a big fixation on hair color, but I definitely pay extra attention when an attractive light-haired girl passes by. But more important is your attitude. Because many Asian men are intimidated to approach white girls, it helps if you have an open and friendly demeanor (somehow, I don't see it as a problem with you). If you're attractive and friendly, I don't think you'll have problems with Asian men being interested in you. Good luck!

You sounded like you are still young and still in that early age of learning. I can't tell you what the name of that guy on that show is because I am not a big fan, but I think (I could be wrong) he looks Hawaiian to me. So he must have a little Japanese blood in him. The rest maybe others can tell you. Asian guys sure do like Blondes, especially guys on this board, guys like us here. But not all of them do. So that is a challenge for you to find out if they have any interests in you or not, after all that is the fun in realtionship, isn't it?
Some Asian people will get offended when somebody assuming him or her Chinese or Vietnamese right off the start. So maybe you can start out with a small conversation and then ask them nicely what their nationalities are.

There's no Asian on the 70's Show. However, there is a Korean guy on the 80's Show and he's...lets say... not the best that us Asian have to offer. And please don't call us guys "Oriental" that term is for referring to the asian girls...at least from my p.o.v. And "YES" we are crazy about blondies!!!

Hi everybody! I need your help. I want to know who that cute oriental is on "That 70s' Show"? He is really handsome. Does anyone know if he is of chinese or vietnamese ancestry? Can someone please tell me? I have been asking some people and they look offended. I don't really understand why.
Do oriental men like blonde hair women? Or do they think we are silly?
Well, I don't have an oriental boyfriend. But I am open to trying anything new. I think there are some very handsome ones out there. It would be a new experience for me. Please someone get back to me on this. It will make me so HappyWappy :o)

So does that mean you have a lot of confident. I mean from reading what you have put down. It sure seem like you do have a lot of balls and are teaching all of us guyz to have the ball like you. And another thing are you in a relationship with a WW right now. Last thing is, Are you Viet? Cause you indirectly said that you are. But I am not sure.
