WHAT DO WF LIKE BEST ABOUT AM?

hen many people see a pretty white woman with a good-looking Asian man the question that pops into their heads is "Why's she with him?" more often than "Why's he with her?"
It's only natural. We've been told so often about the desirability of white women that we simply presume that an Asian man too would find a pretty white women desirable. But we are left to guess at her possible motives for being with him. Not that there aren't hundreds of thousands of handsome, charming and successful Asian men who, by all rights, should be attractive to women of any race. But we are all too aware that American society has built up many negative preconceptions about Asian men that would take extraordinary consideration, some special X factor, to overcome.
The many examples of famous AM/WF couples (Mr/Mrs Yo-Yo Ma, Ming Tsai, Scott Oki, Charles Wang etc), don't really help, merely reinforcing the common presumption that the AM must be wealthy and able to provide an exceptional degree of financial security, material comfort or social status. Another common suspicion is that he must be unusually charming, cultured or sexually gifted. Then there's the old standby -- that the woman must have some odd fixation on Asian men or Asian culture.
Of course intellectually we know better. Just as there are many independent-minded Asian men who see through blonde bimbo stereotypes to the real qualities of white women, there are white women who ignore stereotypes about Asian men. Which leads to the question: What's the real draw? Is it the black hair? educational level? smooth skin? cultural values? upslanting eyes? personality and character traits? Here's a chance for white women who love Asian men to set the record straight.

Glad to hear Nikki that there are girls that don't listen to that damn stereotype about Asians, you know "how bad we treat women", "how AFs are all mistreated because they're from the Asian society". Wow I can't believe there are hardly any single AMs over there in Dallas lol, are they that smooth lol.

Wow can't believe you're in love and you're only 15. Long distance relationships are hard but you've got to give it your best, but always take a third person view once in a while because you simply don't want to hurt yourself (too badly at least, minimize the damage). Anyways hope you two the best!

I moved to the Bay Area several months ago and it seems to me that the Bay Area WF are more accepting of AM. Now I want to test my luck:
Does any Bay Area WF want to chat with me over email and possibly exchange pictures? I like WF very much. However, due to my social circle, I haven't had much chance to get to know many of you. (There're more AF around me than WF.) I'm sure some of you also don't have much chance to get to know AM due to the same problem.
I've used some dating websites to find WF, but I didn't have luck. I also used the very popular website of the Bay Area, craigslist, but the result was the same. I think posting my ad here should be a lot more EFFECTIVE. Right, WF? If you are a single, don't you want to date or just get to know one more AM? If not, then why are you here?
Here is little information about me:
I'm 24 yr old, athletic, cheerful, educated. Physically, I'm NOT ugly. I don't think I shouldn't judge on my own look. I would only say some WF stranger have smiled at me! Well, I have to confess that some WM stranger did the same too! haha........ but I'm 100% sure I only like F.

Sorry to bring up stereeeotypes, but that's cause you're from Texas. Maybe you should consider moving to a town with a large university, or a more cultured state like California or New York or Washington. Or at least Houston, where there are more Asians.

Hey people, it's been a while since I've last been here. I first "discovered" Asian guys about two years ago, and now I think they're abosolutely gorgeous! I've never dated any before because here in Dallas, it's kind of hard to find any single Asian guys. :( I am actually more attracted to them than to white guys now. I mean, you never hear about Asian guys abusing their wives, mistreating their kids, getting into trouble with the law, using women for sex, or any of that other nasty stuff you hear about white guys doing. I like them because they're respectful, know how to treat women, and actually have values! Not to mention how beautiful they are! ^_^
